Cyberbob:
Chevre is a lazy townread? What universe are we in?
Also, I'm not sure what you're picking on w/ the Korlash vote. Of course it's going to be crappy, it's the first couple pages.

RC's last post pings on the scumdar.

First off, the justifications for a (hypothetical) Chevre vote look pretty lame. High-strung? that's a playstyle, not a scumtell. Also, wanting to see some something to defend against isn't a scumtell, either.
He scolds dutch for "WIFOM" (hackneyed buzzword; not a scumtell)
As for the DGB/KMD thing, I can completely see where DGB is coming from. KMD's initial post was a reckamonic-style lurk post. I'm not sure if that's a scumtell for KMD though, as I don't really know him. From the looks of RC's reaction to DGB's suggestion, I feel like RC is trying to say the "correct" thing here instead of really thinking it through.

What? You can't be serious. Lynch someone before they can post?

Someone tell me you two are just pulling my leg, because this is one of the very few absolutes I'd have about the game of Mafia. You don't lynch someone before letting them talk. I mean, what the hell are we supposed to do with the results, regardless of what he flips?

Chevre was a lazy townread when you first introduced the opinion to the thread.
You would see what I'm picking on with regards to the Korlash vote if you actually went and read my post. The initial vote was fine in isolation for the time of the game it came at but then you went and defended it. By the way, "you shouldnt be offended nothing personal shits how i roll yo" is pretty much the epitome of douchebaggery.

Someone asked me what I thought of Gorrad and CKD. Gonna have to cop out on a CKD read, he's entirely under my radar at the moment. I don't mean that he's lurking, just nothing in his posts has given me any particular opinion one way or the other on his alignment.

My immediate thought on Gorrad's fluff-posting early on were "He's still playing like it's 2008!", and lo and behold, I looked up his post history, and he has played in precisely one (1) game since the end of 2009. We used to be so inefficient.
I'm not going to absolve him of all his sins on that basis; his vote on Cyberbob is a bad vote for bad reasons. But there are bigger fish to fry as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, that case was on GORRAD? Names in quotes help us out (protip).

If you're so convinced DGB, why aren't you voting Gorrad?

spyrex - your view and thoughts on Gorrad were well thought out. You moved up out of my scum list.
RC wrote:I like Cyberbob and Seraphim's last two posts. I skimmed over Spyrex's ninja'd post above me. It looks aimless at first glance, which is really uncharacteristic of him. The quotes have no authors attributed. Ugh. Cyberbob, do you not get where I'm coming from or do you think I'm just playing the "confusion/frustration" card as a tactic?
I disagree with sera. I read it twice and I don't see it as a solid post. Where reading SpyreX I can see why Gorrad looks scummy. In short Gorrad has posted fluff and nonsense. He's doing more teaching post and not contributing to scum hunting. By the way Sera didn't have who the quote was from but I understood that all the quotes from Spyrex were about Korlash, I have no clue who Sera is quoting.
Now explain what about Sera's post you liked.
kor wrote: I'm not going to try to defend Chevre or claim to know why she did or didn't do anything. But to me "She didn't vote that guy" doesn't sound all that weird, beginning of the game or not.
I disagree I see scum motivation in things like that. It shows me fear and I don't know many town that are fearful of putting their vote on someone who is suspicious especially during RVS.

Shower time. I feel assed out that my Sera suspicious falls on deaf ears.

Some excellent choices:

Chevre
Kmd4390
Gorrad
RedCoyote

But you know, we can just lynch KMD, there's no way he's town.

you know.. KMD is at my scumlist... and I don't think many people are interested in lynching Jerbs, so my vote is kind off crap atm. So if there is (real) interest for a wagon at KMD I'll probably join. But I've already been changing my vote quite often, so if this (possible) wagon is already doomed before it starts then I'll have to keep changing.. what is kind of scummie, and it will make it harder to jump back at my old vote. So I'll join a wagon on KMD if there is more interest

Now that I think of it, RedCoyote's outraged reaction to the concept of lynching KMD feels like faking being town. A townie wouldn't fear joining such a wagon for the lulz. But a scumbag, knowing that KMD is town, might "stick his neck out" chiding everyone agreeing with such a lynch, believing there is a town cred pay off. WRONG!
