Darox, I really wish you tunneled on scum instead.

That's nice. Do you have a case prepared for any of what you just said, or did you just want us to accept you on nothing more than whatever town cred you have?

I shouldn't have to be ball busting on Day 2 for folks to do PBP and cases to justify their opinions, by the way. We had an entire first day that almost ran to the wire.
There should be enough there to do cases. If you don't bother to start giving us cases, don't be surprised when we start voting for you.

Scum doesn't try to cause a no-lynch on day 1. Scum likes a townie lynch, very very much better!

I don't know, either way is a free kill. If they can direct suspicion to a townie, great. If they can completely deny town information and still get a NK, great.

As vezo has accused me of not providing evidence I thought it was about time I did. Here is my read on vezo.

ISO 0 - Asking a pointless newbie question, fluff that lowers expectations.
ISO 1 - RVS vote
ISO 2 - Wagons on Ross, tries to claim 3rd vote. No real reason why anyone would try to claim the 3rd vote, but shows vezo is thinking alot about possible scumtells in his posts. Also fails to mention any of the actual discussion around Ross.
ISO 3 - Realises he wasn't actually the 3rd vote, then votes for DH because being the 3rd vote is a scumtell. Apparantly DH was being scummy when he joined the Ross wagon, but vezo was only trying to be scummy on purpose when he wagoned but failed at being scummy so it's ok.
ISO 4-7 - Tries to explain why being 3rd vote on the bandwagon is scummy, but trying to be 3rd vote on the wagon isn't, vezo starts getting a few votes here.
Also interesting, while in ISO 0 vezo didn't know that you win as long as your faction wins, in ISO 5 he's giving advice about what happens if a jester wins, ISO 0 is looking more and more like an early play setting up VI type excuses for scummy behaviour. In ISO 7 writes "DH just bandwagoned. Likely scum.", Vezo also bandwagoned, also likely scum.
ISO 8 - hhhmm nobody else voted DH, and the 3rd vote things was pretty stupid, must be time to jump wagons again. Vezo is the only wagon going so he can't join that. Instead just OMGUS's palmer because "He doesn't care who he is trying to lynch. He is just trying to lynch someone." Given vezo is on to his 3rd wagon here, looks like vezo is also "doesn't care who he is trying to lynch" and is "just trying to lynch someone"
ISO 9 - Argues with Darox re:meta, without actually using meta to make a case on anyone. Fluff.
ISO 10 - Fence sits on Ross. The Ross wagon is gaining momentum, vezo needs to keep the door open to jump back on.
ISO 11 - Fate Fluff.
ISO 12 - "lol my wagon is scum" = "lol I have no defence for my shitty voting pattern". Also jumps on the Ross wagon, what better way to avoid getting lynched then to jump on the biggest other wagon. Another OMGUS vote.
ISO 13 - Refuses to claim because Ghostlin doesn't trust Ross. No sense.
ISO 14 - Fluff about mistakes in DGBs lists.
ISO 15/16 - Fluff, makes the same mistake that DGB did re my Darox vote.
ISO 17/18 - Admits that he has no real case or play of his own, just wants ot brownnose/sheep DGB.
ISO 19 - Implies Xalxe of put him at L-1, it was Ross. Asks if Xalxe "knows something we don't" without ever actually questioning Xalxe's logic. Nothing but smear.
ISO 20 - Votes Xalxe, first vote since RVS that wasn't scummy.
ISO 21 - OMGUS veridis. Accuses me of not hacing reasons when a)I gave reasons on D1 and b)he has never given real reasons for his votes.
ISO 22 - Darox is scum, or no wait, I'm going to sit on the fence a bit more.
ISO 23 - Still gives no reason, but pushes a lynch on me.

Oh and vezo, if you're going to get shitty at me for calling you a she, it's pretty poor form to make the exact same mistake.

tl;dr
- In his 24 posts, 7 are votes, 6 are fluff and 5 are defending his stupid 3rd vote gaffe, not many posts left for content.
Of his 7 votes, 3 were direct OMGUS votes. Vezo gives 3 reasons for his various votes, DH was scummy for being 3rd on Ross' wagon, Palmer was scummy for trying to push too many lynches, and I am scummy for not making a proper case. All 3 of these points apply just as much to vezo as to those he accuses.
Vezo is also constantly sits on the fence for the few reads he does give, blatantly sucks up to DGB and openly admits to sheeping because nobody listens to him anyway.

In the way, my dear, that chocolate is better than a peanut butter sandwich. They're both good to eat, and everyone would rather have the chocolate, but if you want something good and tasty, the peanut butter isn't a bad way to go.

@Verdis: I may be rereading your ISO, but that's the most productive thing you've said thus far. Why have you been so...quiet up until this point?

EBWOP: DGB, you didn't answer my question, by the way. What do you think about the whole Darox/DH fight? Heck, you can even give me your read on the whole Darox/Ghostlin fight if it helps to see one in the context of the other.

Darox vs. DH = town on town hate.
Darox vs. Ghostlin = town on town hate.

I'm not saying this for the WIFOM, but if I were scum I wouldn't tolerate a D1 no-lynch unless a buddy was in jeopardy.

Hi guys, I recieved a prod. Bad times. Fear not, still here, I will catch up and be at my normal level of activity once I have a few things sorted out in RL. I'm semi clued up on what is current events but not enough to form opinions that I'm confident on.

Rage isn't a good look for you...
He paraphrased your post into what he boiled it down to. His opinion and paraphrasing does not constitute strawmanning.

The fact you've jumped so defensively to that post makes me wonder...

Careful, you don't want to toe that line too hard, you might get a booboo.

In other news, about half the town is MIA. That's bad. They need to quit that.

It's because you don't seem to realize that he wasn't paraphrasing it, he was twisting what I was saying.

Notice how you say what "he boiled it down to". Just saying that from an opposing side is Strawmanning.

I've already said before that my highest suspects are DGB and Guderian. Other then that, I'm not that sure and won't until I re-read the thread. I keep trying to have tea, but it's only gone over well in England.

In that case we'll have to agree to disagree on that.

C'mon lurkers, contribution is key to a discussion, we can't do stuff all without talking to each other.

We can't do stuff all if our discussions revolve around semantics and WIFOM either.

I'm still waiting for people to respond to my last contribution, and don't much care for the mislynch/no-lynch debate nor the strawman discussions that have dominated proceedings. Apart from that we've only really got empty lists from people, nothing to comment upon except to say empty lists are empty.
