One by one the lights go on above Xalxe's glass chamber, until the whole bar is lit. Xalxe looks out in horror, banging against the glass "You've made a mistake! You've made a mistake!" There's a small clunking noise, followed by a soft whirring, and Xalxe looks around his cell for what will kill him. Then... nothing.
After a moment muzak is played. Muzak? But that's only played in elevators? Sure enough, Xalxe's cell starts to rise, to where, nobody knows... except that, the top of his cell isn't moving. As a musak version of uptown girl plays cheerily, Xalxe is slowly and horribly crushed against the top of his cell. When the floor drops back into place, there's nothing that really resembles anything that is not goo.
A loud error noise interupts the end of the song, and a large red X flashes over the cell.
Xalxe, it seems, was not one of von Skümihosen's minions, instead he was aSuper-Spy.
The lights go out, but some of the control panels are still secretly active.-

The lights flash back on after just a few moments of darkness. The captives glance around, having heard little in the darkness, and see that nobody else is dead or harmed!
However, there is little time for celebration, the countdown starts again.
With 11 alive, 6 are needed for a lynch. The deadline is is here.-

First, the insulting PbP among the fluff of Day 1, and now the heightened point of every debate, the NO U defense. We're all responsible for the Town Lynch Day 1, is there a particular reason you're trying to delibrately incite an emotional response?Darox wrote:Oh hey you have no idea why I called you scum and now you're trying to misrepresent me!
Way to go scum.
I called you scum because you said "I'm going to wait and see if Xalxe gets popular before I decide to jump ship" which is a very safe, very scummy move, especially in the heat of deadline.
I find it equally likely you're scum trying to rattle our cages out of who's loudest, and you started the Xalxe wagon, and there's a variety of reasons you might do that, including protecting RW scum.

Oh, I read it. Let me clarify what I was saying: You initated the Xalxe lynch. We could of left Xalxe Day 2 and demanded what he meant by holding us up, gotten the votes to lynch RW, who HAD been acting scummy up until that point, but you were the one who insisted that we could of pulled the wagon around and lynched Xalxe instead. Three questions:Darox wrote:The amusing thing is the actual meat of my posts is in the third line, so you won't ever read the real content before getting turned off by my brutish manner.
1) Why did you pull the RW wagon around?
2) Is it not hypocritical to you to accuse someone from bandwagoning when:
a) there are less than 2 days left until town closes, you started another wagon seemingly opportunitistically on a now confirmed townie and no one's going to leave town at NL?
b) we all rode that wagon to lynch?
c) You started that wagon on a townie we know is a townie.
Why or why not?
3) Really, what do you plan to get out of insulting anyone and hiding the content after the insults? Make sure we read the post? How is this not like scummly not trying to actively HIDE the content?"You live for the fight when it's all that you've got."--Bon Jovi, Living on a Prayer-

1) Why did you pull the RW wagon around?
Because I didn't really think Ross was scum and Xalxe hadn't actually said anything. See my big ToT post.
2) Is it not hypocritical to you to accuse someone from bandwagoning when:
Except that's not what I'm accusing him of. OOPS MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY READING COMPREHENSION FOR DUMMIES. I'D OFFER TO EXPLAIN IT BUT YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND ME.
3) Really, what do you plan to get out of insulting anyone and hiding the content after the insults? Make sure we read the post? How is this not like scummly not trying to actively HIDE the content?
I get satisfaction from seeing you get upset. Half of them are jokes anyway. Also it helps weed out the people who get easily distracted and misdirected.
P.S. "not like scummly not trying" ???
"c) You started that wagon on a townie we all now know is a townie when they were both likely to be be scum. C should read this."
Why do you think this would be relevant at all, even if we were talking about bandwagoning? Smells like logical fallacy. Same goes for a) as well, actually.-

Shall I quote you?
That's accusing him of joining the bandwagon when it was convienent. You started the bandwagon when it seemed to be to your advantage. I understand you may not get the initutive leaps involved here, so I'll go slow: how is it less opporuntisic to start a bandwagon when you saw there were muitiple people displeased, then to jump on one with time running out? And why Dark Horse? Vezo, who was suspected up to the end of day 1, joined the bandwagon and cast the hammer. I joined the same wagon, and you've already accused me as scummy.I called you scum because you said "I'm going to wait and see if Xalxe gets popular before I decide to jump ship" which is a very safe, very scummy move, especially in the heat of deadline.
Instead you've focused on Dark Horse, when there are a number of other suspects you could focus on. In fact, what ELSE do you have on Dark Horse that makes us think we should suspect him anymore than any of the other people? Build a case. Hopefully you can manage it without sarcasm?"You live for the fight when it's all that you've got."--Bon Jovi, Living on a Prayer-

Stalling is not the same thing as Bandwagoning. I'm not accusing him of hopping onto an easy bandwagon.
I haven't called you scummy for stalling. Same effect =/= same cause.
Maybe you should learn the meaning of terms before you throw them around.
P.S. This is all wonderful material for my day 3 reveal: "Why Ghostlin is a moron who tries to disguise his inadequacy behind meaningless fluff"-

It'll be as well recieved as "Why Darox doesn't acutally post anything Day 1 and 2 and avoids answering the questions posted to him."Darox wrote:Stalling is not the same thing as Bandwagoning. I'm not accusing him of hopping onto an easy bandwagon.

.....Then if you're right, why areDarox wrote:P.S. Suspecting the hammer because it was the hammer? (Incidentally, it was Dark Horse who hammered, not Vezo)
Honestly?
Is this babies first mafia game?yoususpecting the hammer? You went to the point of telling me how irrevelant it was and then stopped to say I was wrong. Nice deflection, there.
Let me repeat myself: What evidence do you have on Dark Horse do you have for a case?
This isn't twenty questions: these shouldn't tax your brainpower."You live for the fight when it's all that you've got."--Bon Jovi, Living on a Prayer-
