Guderian wrote:So if someone does something ridiculous/ scummy, we should put them down as town because scum would 'proofread their posts?' Yeah, no.
Nice strawman.
RayFrost wrote:Equi - I must've misread the multiple quickvotes after day two started as going for a fast lynch again.
Ah, that's what you meant. Fair warning, then, I guess.
Guderian wrote:And his very next post is a correction to his previous, corresponding to your theory that he was scum, reread it, albeit after he posted, thought 'shit son' and the edited by way of post.
Why point out one's mistake even MORE by correcting it? Wouldn't it be better to cross your fingers and hope nobody sees it?

Equinox wrote:But it's undeniable that Rhinox is dead, and the only way that makes sense to me right now is a NK.
I had the same thought as you did (about narrowing down who could've submitted the NK), but there's enough possibilities that I think it's more reasonable to wait until we're sure that that's NK flavor, rather than trying to do anything about it now.
RayFrost wrote:Hi guys, I disapprove of quick lynching. The faith given to seraphs is great and all, but they won't be able to use their freaking powers if we lynch before they send in a PM, just like all the other players that aren't on during this that have powers.
Chances are high that both of these are true (they were both true in MoHO):
1) There are no town PRs to start.
2) Town seraph gains more faith from a lynch than scum seraph.

But instead of coming on and simply complaining, how about you toss down a vote so we actually have something to talk about?

Seriously guys, the idea of quick lynching to hope for getting scum is stupid. I disapprove heavily. Saying "let's let the seraphs do all the work and not do anything but randomly lynch peoples and hope we get lucky" is the pinnacle of pro-scum play, in my opinion.

Regardless of the lack of PRs or such, continuing this path is beyond the edge of foolishness. I can (if stretching myself) understand D1, but the fact you are trying to extend this to D2 is bad (and you DO NOT KNOW if there are other PRs, IIRC - the mod hasn't confirmed either way).
no you don't understand, that lynch was the most fuckin' protown thing that ever happened.

no regrets. none at all.

I'm gonna go bask in the glory of that for a little bit, BRB.

Will post more later when I have time - off to plans today, see yah.

P.s. - I don't think that the lynch was necessarily pro-town as it helped scum as well via a non-scum lynch + a town kill over the night.
don't you feel silly now?

Ray: We're NOT letting them do all the work. We fucking lynched vezok so he couldn't fuck us later on. We're enabling them to act at their full potential right now, so I feel like I did my part.

THERE YOU GO INHIM. WELCOME TO THE LIGHT SIDE OF THE FORCE.

Massive love for AGM right now. <3

I'd like to thank everyone who followed my call to arms against vezok. <3 Doesn't mean you're all town, but doesn't hurt your chances. <3

Guderian: I was referring to your blanket statement of "ridiculous/scummy," which was an oversimplification of the scenario I presented in the first quote there. Neither of those actions can be described as ridiculous.

Kitoari: Yeah, I probably should go back to logical-Equinox mode at some point.
