I don't think this is a very good scum strategy to waste your nuke, I'm pretty sold on Kit just actually being stupid here by not reading and it not being a master gambit of any kind. Doesn't make him town, although I'd view it as a slight town tell.

Dana's reaction to the modkill thing is quite scummy, certainly the way he wored what he did seems more likely to come from scum. 'Sorry to my team-mates' or something like that doesn't feel like something someone would say as town.

Look, I didn't want to ruin the game any more than I had by stating my faction when about to be modkilled. When I realized there was still hope, I admitted that it was town, because the statement could no longer be said to be under circumstances that made it true. If you don't believe that, I understand, but you're wrong.
