Everyone gathered around the Village Council Chamber is surprised when, after another animated debate followed by a hanging nothing seems to happen. Time passes and yet there's no sign that your actions have been acknowledged at all. It's as though the forces behind the scenes have simply left you to your own devices. Eventually everyone wanders home in a state of confusion feeling let down. It's only after everyone is at home (avoiding being out of their houses after what would normally be curfew by habit as much as anything else) when the static filled announcement comes on over the radios:

Fear not my friends, your actions are not in vain. The powers that be apparently haven't decided how to react but allow me to be the first to tell you that Rover is no more thanks to your work! Number 2 can't be far behind and surely he's now lost a valuable ally. Sleep soundly knowing that a resounding blow has been struck for justice!

Plum, Rover, Village Administrator Jailkeeper, was lynched day two.

It is now night two. Deadline for submitting night actions is 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST on Wednesday, January 5th. Countdown timer.

Day Three: Hammer Into Anvil

A sound sleep is nowhere to be found in the Village that night and in fact, what fitful sleep there is gets interrupted by the radio just before the sun begins to rise.

Wake up! Wake up! You're one step closer to justice!

Another of Number 2's tools has fallen during the night! No longer do you need to worry about the Supervisor watching your every move. Hurry to the Village Council Chambers and take the next step. Don't let those who once tormented you regain their footing but strike now!

Those that make it to the gallows are once again reduced. Another body has been choked to death, this time inside the council chamber itself, near a well known "hidden" door to the warren of tunnels that underlie the entire area. One of the first things that gets learned at the Village is that you leave those doors alone but apparently the lesson didn't sink in as well for some as for others. Additionally Number 143 appears to have vanished during the night but it's hard to mourn such common bad news given the rarity of the good news that you're faced with.

The games aren't over but the pieces have started to fall into place.

@camn: I'm inclined to believe that sotty7 was the only mafia member on the plum wagon. I am not willing to clear anyone on that wagon of being the sk, yet. SpyreX's hammer in particular seemed "off" to me - more of an IGMEOY for SpyreX, though.

As far as the remaining mafia member goes, I'm inclined to think he was indeed on the EC wagon - especially since Plum asserted the belief that there was only 1 scum on that wagon. Of the four remaining players on the EC wagon, I'm betting on populartajo or Jack. Yes, I know Jack has that whole counterclaimed miller thing going for him, but 1) I don't believe he is a miller 2) He forgot where his vote was on Day 1 and 3) He isn't contributing. So he can remain a suspect in my book.

I don't think claims are going to help us, SpyreX. If we have an awesome PR, the pr will speak up when he thinks it will be of benefit for the town. I would ask that the mason remain quiet at this time and not claim.

If you don't want the mason to claim (and jack is that AWESOME PR REMEMBER WHO HAS GIVEN/DONE NOTHING) then its either:

1.) NL
2.) Lynch Nacho.

The reason I don't want the mason to claim is that I've figured out who it is. There is a specific post the mason can point to in this thread and prove that he is the mason - if he makes it into endgame. I do not believe he will make it into endgame if he is confirmed as a townie today. So - no - I don't want to see the mason claim today.

I still think Jack is town. He pulled an NK-drawing gambit here as well, and his super miller PR gambit happened a little after he was NK'ed in the game I linked. The only other thing against Jack that I can see is his D2 disappearence, but he was gone everywhere during that time, so it doesn't read as scum to me.

The only person I'm uneasy with on the Plum wagon is SpyreX, but honestly, I'm not that uneasy with him. He easily could've pushed for camn to hammer me (since she had a prestated suspicion of me) instead of hammering his scumbuddy the Jailkeeper.

Meaning that the only person left is populartajo.

@Nachomamma8: True, Jack did pull the nk drawing gambit in that game, but he was also an active participant in that game. So, in that respect, the game you linked proves that Jack is not playing to his established town meta in this game. I think we're going to have to disagree on this one as I don't see anything that compells me to believe Jack is town.

Anyway, we have 3 (out of a needed 4) people who have said they are willing to lynch populartajo today. Jack hasn't expressed any preferences (big surprise). SpyreX wants a mass claim (slim chance) otherwise he favors a no lynch or a Nachomamma8 lynch. populartajo will be in the hot seat when he makes his appearance.
