@RossWilliam
You were after more information, but nothing specific...
OK that's one scum pretty much found for now.
@Vezo
You also seem a bit peeved about not being the third? Hunt for sake of hunt? I would also like clarification of your vote.-

Do you also rarely answer questions? I asked you some in the very same post. Looks like you just ignored them.DGB wrote:Palmertrou wrote:This is a very brash statement.
Better tighten your seat belt... I'm rarely subtle.
I, for one, am not going to be trusting you're scum/town reads without reasoning. Is there a reason you are withholding? Can you answer that question? If not then I want you to stop dodging questions. I also don't really know why a "hated townie" wouldn't just say that they are right now.DGB wrote:Just my amazing town-detecting powers at work.
I'd be voting DGB if it wasn't for his hated townie soft claim right now.Reminder to self. Don't post drunk.-

"Third vote on wagon is scum"vezokpiraka wrote:The third vote on a wagon is most of the time scum.
I knew that and thought I could be the third to vote just for the sake of voting. But when I found out I was the fourth I voted DH because he is scum.
That's a pretty bold statement. Anything backing it up?-

Are you expecting any claims other than secret agent? Because quite frankly, I think that's all we're gonna get.Dark Horse wrote:

@vezokpiraka
Your basing your vote on someone being third on the wagon, because they are more likely to be scummy. Yet you wanted to be third...
WIFOM?-

Sorry, everyone's tolerance is different (and mine's probably at about that last post).Guderian wrote:No massive quote pyramids please.
How fast would be people be willing to get a day one lynch/wagon underway?
Also, if we have a reasonable case, then I say go for it. Haven't really seen one yet though."I, too, would prefer to know the Xalxe of my demise." - Felissan, 2022

@Everyone that's acting like it's a no-brainer what DGB's role was: It's not. I didn't pick up on anything obvious and I'm not alone. So little comments about how everyone should have just *known* that DGB was this role or that really aren't helping the town. Not explaining things is not too far away from withholding information, which I would say is anti-town-

UNVOTE:
@Guderian (from way back) - DH reads pretty town to me, nothing scummy about his page 1 posts.
I'm hoping DGB doesn't claim super-spy, she's previously softclaimed a PR.Xalxe wrote:Are you expecting any claims other than secret agent? Because quite frankly, I think that's all we're gonna get.
Character claim is looking for the extra flavour in her role PM, the theme reason for her hated townie role.
From this I'm pretty confident saying you're vanilla or scum.
@DGB - I'd like to hear a character claim too.
FoS: Vezo for the vote jumping and third vote attention.
VOTE: Davox, his vote on Ross was terrible. (for the record I have no problem with Ross voting DGB for pressure, I'm undecided on how quickly Ross crumbled under pressure himself)-

I wouldn't go so far as to say scummy, but you was interested in your thoughts on them since you seemed to dodge what little 'content' you could call it to slap a RVS down.
We're not claiming anything, or at least I dont see how that helps. What I want is a clear explanation.
Also:
FOS: palmertrou
His reasoning is pretty weak, and I dont know how many games Ive played or seen that tried to get a vezok lynch. Typical play really from scum.Where Confidence and Charisma Collide-

Thread was closed by the time I saw it first so I didn't pay much attention to the false start. Wasn't anything in there that screamed scum to me, so without doing a close analysis of things, but wanting to check in, I threw down a RV.
"We're not claiming anything", sorry, which we?
VOTE: Darox
Davox is a great guy, hope he forgives me for the misvote.-

Why would you want this, or trust this at this stage of this Day in a closed setup where we have no clue what the power roles are and what they do? Some of the logic being thrown around boggles me: we have one person voting someone because one role can't possibly exist in his opinion, and another person who wants a hard claim amidst the insanity of someone soft claiming super hated townie with a bizarre twist of lime. Not to beat the rest of town over the head with my opinions, but DGB is one of three things:@Dark Horse: There is nothing left to elaborate on that vote. I thought that I was going about the right way to get a roleclaim, and when I was wrong, I unvoted.
1) Telling the truth: if this is likely, then we don't know what else she's concealing from us from the softclaim. Voting for her would be a semi bad thing.
2) A weird third-party role that might benefit from such a claim, such as jester or survivor: she's obviously lying, but to whatever end.
3) Scum wanting to add to the confusion, which we can test out her soft claim at any time, just have 3 people vote for her. (Or probably half of the lynch number.)
1) is bizarre but unlikely and enough of a reason not to do it. 2) involves not enough information to do it and right now screams of enough attention whoring that I might not consider doing it since this screams of jester-like lynch me play. I'd consider 3) if she continues to hang on well past Day 1.
@Vezo: Explain exactly why you wanted the scum spot in the wagon. If what you're saying is true, why would you want a town mislynch, or even obv WIFOM?
Did I wake up this morning and start playing where everyone wants to be a jester?
In fact, a 'wait, what?'Vote: Vezofor that awesome post that makes my head frankly asplode.
@Dark Horse: Character claim fails somewhat since this is not based on any flavor except the mod's imagination. All we know from the included flavor is that 'super spy' is probably the only thing close to a safeclaim everyone has, and a lot of people are going to claim super spy unless there's a really, really compelling reason not to. Unless I'm wrong, andmod, correct me if I am, this minitheme is not based off a book, movie or the like. An almost generic sort of flavor unless there's an over the top James Bond role here. And I expect the mod's villian to go @ town: "What do I expect, town? I expect you to DIE."
Depends on who you are thinking and the reasoning for it. I could actually support a Vezo wagon at this point despite my fear of a third party jester because the whole 'I wanna be third because third is the role of scum' thing makes me facepalm.From Guderian: How fast would be people be willing to get a day one lynch/wagon underway?HARD.I'd ideally like this to last a few more pages...although it's uncomfortable that you seem to be fishing for quicklynch. Is there any reason WHY you'd like us to lynch sooner rather than later?

I really don't like this jester speculation, it really muddy's the thread and clear lines of thought. IMO if someone is acting scummy and they are lynch flipped as jester then that's just crappy luck.
Just for clarification though, town can still 'win' if a jester is lynched right?Reminder to self. Don't post drunk.-

There is a differance between a day 1 lynch and a day 1 wagon. Why do you group the two?Guderian wrote: How fast would be people be willing to get a day one lynch/wagon underway?
The more wagons we can fit in a day the more information we get as long as the wagons have lynch potential (no pressure otherwise). This ends with a lynch. I think that early wagons aren't as pressurising as wagons at the latter stages of the day. The biggest early wagons are generally the same wagons at the end of the day though.Reminder to self.
