So, Notoriety makes me think it might be useful for everyone to claim Role Name now (is that allowed by the no-paraphrase rule?). Maybe I'm missing something, but having the ability to pick a different name after your real one is exposed is a big advantage for scum.
Also, everybody who thinks IS's killer was a dayvig needs tohave their head examinedbe strung up. VOTE: Midnight's Sorrow.
Almaster's reaction looks fake as hell. DGB's reaction, I'm torn on, but I don't trust myself so early. tajo's sudden appearance stinks.Retired as of October 2014.-

Then how do you propose IS died? He didn't just take his own gun and blow his brains out? Also, everybody who thinks IS's killer was a dayvig needs to have their head examined be strung up. VOTE: Midnight's Sorrow.
But I do like your idea of at least claiming our role name. I would even go so far as to suggest each person also claims their victory planet as well, to see if some people share a planet
I dont think you understand. I know which planet is given in my wincon. But I do not know if we are heading there right now, going to be heading there, or actually where in god's name we ARE heading. If anyone has any information about this, they should come forward. In his opening post he says he doesn't know where are we headed. But it says that in my win condition. The town win con. So therefore he is sum.

I misread your initial post after returning to the room too, Guderian. No harm done.
Faraday's idea to No Lynch repeatedly to beat scum to it looks worse in hindsight now, though... did you not know we could have our direction changed?? What did you see in the rules that made you think it's "not the best idea"?Retired as of October 2014.-

I guess I misunderstood. Yes, I think the killing of anyone so quickly is clearly scum aligned. I agree with you.
From the rules seems to imply we may be on course to wherever we want to go.The ship destination changes based off the item Ship A.I. The A.I. starts off with town.Where Confidence and Charisma Collide-

Flay - I just looked back at the rules and I guess it is a little ambiguous, but I assumed when someone's notoriety is raised above the threshold the announcement "xvart is Joe Blow the poop scooper" instead of "you know that Joe Blow the poop scooper is in the game."Mr. Flay wrote:So, Notoriety makes me think it might be useful for everyone to claim Role Name now (is that allowed by the no-paraphrase rule?). Also, is there any pro-town reason to not claim a daykill target (regardless of the flip). I think it would be advantageous to claim daykill targets because, from my perspective, anyone that gets notarized better be able to explain where the 6+ points came from.I only read quote walls.

Flay - what exactly would outing role names gain us?
All - Does the loss of the pilot mean anything? Does that mean the ship's course is now fixed, or that it can be more easily changed course?"If it be now, 'tis not to come; if it be not to come, it will be now; if it be not now, yet it will come: the readiness is all."

I ask because:
A) We do not know where exactly we are headed at any given point, or at least we don't right now. The Pilot would potentially have that information, and without it, we could be steered in a direction we are unaware of.
B) The Pilot seems like an apt name for the person holding the course of the ship steady. This means that they would have some ability or information that would allow them to make sure we are going towards the town's wincon planet. Again, without them, we could be redirected towards another wincon's planet more easily.
C) Since the captain is dead, it seems the Pilot would be the second most important (and thus, powerful) person on the ship.
I actually just saw that Midnight had already asked the question and no one responded. It's still a pertinent question though."If it be now, 'tis not to come; if it be not to come, it will be now; if it be not now, yet it will come: the readiness is all."
