It depends on my financial situation and other plans at the time but, if everything plays out optimally, I will be away from civilization from the middle of June until the 7th or 8th of July.

It might all work out, but Troll needs to be informed of when Oman will be about so Troll can come visit and buy him the rounds of drinks that him earned when him be there. And possibly wing his man.

Oh, and rhubarb pie do be delightful so far as pies go. Troll tends to agree with HackerHuck; strawberries no add anything to them that them no had going for them already. Ripe, sweet strawberries be great but the rhubarb be excellent without them.

One week from now Troll should be in Portland. Troll be looking forward to it. If there be anything that people expect Troll to bring now be the time to remind Troll of it.

It looks like we'll be seeing a lot of Zorblag this year, which pleases me.

In a strange twist of fate, I got extra time off for Zorb's visit.

My boss decided to go on vacation and so rearranged my schedule to cover some of her management tasks. In making arrangements, she scheduled all my shifts for the begining of this week and the end of next week. As a result, I got seven days off in a row in the middle.

I may still try to pick up a shift next Monday though.

@Oman:

We can work around your leave if we need to. The gathering will probably be close enough to Portland this year that I can drive out during seedcamp and spend a couple of days hanging out with you. However, the easiest timing

be early June or mid-to-late July.

Hmm, there's some chance Troll might give a call about Friday evening for Ythill and Xine (and potentially others) to join Troll and others for a gathering if them will be free. Troll be in the process of seeing when Troll's former student and his wife be free early in the weekend and we might be doing something somewhere public. If the Scumtroopers could make it to that Troll would view it as a positive thing. Troll will probably make some calls come next Thursday and Friday about such things.

Too late, IS. We've already gotten him to pee out of a moving car, on a city bus, and while para-sailing. Currently, we are working on getting him to pee during a spacewalk.

Zorblag is getting on a train in about an hour. If things go according to plan, he will be riding here with Xine tomorrow afternoon. Miyu will be here tomorrow too. If anyone needs directions to my new apartment, PM me.

Our gigantic hippie van has loose steering and off-road tires that make it difficult to drive on pavement. Xine once peed in a large bowl while driving that behemoth down the highway, then she emptied it out the window without spilling it. I was driving the car in front of her and in communication over a walkie-talkie, but she didn't so much as swerve and I had no idea what she'd done until she told me afterward.
