I haven't played with chesskid yet, but he looks promising. Don't nobody kill him yet. But Vezok? Any pro-town day vig needs to already have the gun cocked.

I dont like the idea of anyone being overtly day vig happy. Long drawn out lynches dont do it for me either. Im with Faraday on keeping to a level.

Re. Sensfan. Meh... i have no idea and dont want to know what supposedly happened but if it involved cheating, its quite enough said already.

I really don't get all the vezok hate either. He's pretty easy to read, and the sheeping can be helpful.

I won't daykill vezok if he doesn't fuck around. But if he starts making off the wall claims or distracting the game, then he's acting antitown and becomes a fair target.

I just don't want "lol VI" to become an excuse for scum/triggerhappy vigilantes to decimate the town.

Uhh not sure how much about that I can say without getting in to trouble. Basically the town can win without eliminating the scum so I was wondering if there was mechanisms in place to prevent us just quicklynching no lynch through untill the end. As I said though I noticed from the rules that there's definitely something in place so it's not a good idea, I'd guess.

@ Vezok I don't see why that would ever be useful apart from maybe proving your role, but since proven role =/= proven alignment then.
are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?

I am not sure that flay isn't making a huge deal out of nothing. For instance, he threatened to daykill DGB, and I doubt he has immediate plans to do so. It seems to me like "I'm going to daykill X lawl" is just the kind of thing that people say in signup threads because they're joking around, but realize that its probably not in their best interests to do so.

So flay, why does this strike you as the most important thing to talk about right now? Don't you think by bringing up the subject of day kills right away you might make one more likely?

Cool. I can post in this game (I'm having trouble in some of my other games). Is there anything specifically preventing us from using votes and the like to start the game. I realize they won't matter yet but it might be best to go ahead and get this party started and then we can just shift over our votes once the day starts.

A question, though. So someone who went into a different room and then came back to the lobby would still be able to see whatever else they people in the other room are talking about, right? Voting is going to be a little strange with some of it going on in the QTs, so we might want to keep a public tally if someone votes in the QTs.
Of course, if we don't know what specific rooms people go to I imagine it would be possible for scum to load up in a room by themselves and kill off some people that way.
Forgot that movement is publicly declared and POE would easily figure out who was in what room.
I only read quote walls.

Not a fan of drawing out the lynch, but as long as day doesn't last 2 days due to vig'ing.

I think it's quite reasonable to be talking about daykilling this early on, considering that is the main game mechanic in play here.

So votes/daykills from other rooms carry over? Does this mean we could potentially not know all the actions occurring in the game?

Anyone have any speculation about the use of items/what role they will play?

No item speculation, please. Those who need to know will figure it out, using QTs most likely. No reason it should be out in the open before we know any and all possible negative consequences of it.

That's not been my experience at all. EBHOBANOHAR, Angel Nightless, Mutually Assured Destruction, Texas Justice... people WANT to be vigs. They think they can do well at it. And if everyone* gets vig power, they want to use it before they get vigged themselves.

I'm concerned that people might feel "well, this person is useless anyway, might as well off them early" and boom, we're down as many as two or three roles before we really discuss it. I think I prefer directing daykills as a way to get extra lynches (though I need to reread the rules on that part). Speaking of which...

I think this is wrong. Unlike power roles, which are secret and should not be outed because doing so increases the information available to whatever scum groups are in this game, items are there for everybody to see. There is no secret, and anybody can claim it. However, scum have an advantage because they have who knows how many people talking, discussing roles, and planning item grabs, already. There might be something in a role specifically about items that is being shared between them.

I dont understand how you can say we will figure it out. I have no ideas what items do. I think it would be completely anti-town to just say, 'oh theres an item, hopefully it will sort itself out'!
