I don't think fast kills are the way to work, but drawing the lynch out is something I'm not a fan of. Happy medium.

I was actually wondering if no lyncing everyday really quickly would be an effective strategy. It could get us to day 7 pretty quick, although something in the rules makes me think that's not the best idea.

I've found chesskid to be an asset to the town in the past, and don't support any premature daykills on him, unless you actually think he's scum this game. His play in LOST S1 and 2 certainly wasn't VI like, I'm pretty sure Seraphim could agree as he played S1.

Also doubt Senfan's in the game, looked through the potential alts and don't see it. I'd prefer not to play with him too, so hope this gets sorted out.

Uhh not sure how much about that I can say without getting in to trouble. Basically the town can win without eliminating the scum so I was wondering if there was mechanisms in place to prevent us just quicklynching no lynch through untill the end. As I said though I noticed from the rules that there's definitely something in place so it's not a good idea, I'd guess.


@ Vezok I don't see why that would ever be useful apart from maybe proving your role, but since proven role =/= proven alignment then.

Faraday's idea to No Lynch repeatedly to beat scum to it looks worse in hindsight now, though... did you not know we could have our direction changed?? What did you see in the rules that made you think it's "not the best idea"?

5. Ship Destination- The game has a set end game of 7 days. Once 7 days is up, the ship will land at whatever planet it is destined for. The ship destination changes based off the item Ship A.I. The A.I. starts off with town.

Tipped me off to having our location changed. Wasn't aware it could be changed before that, no. I don't see why we're stating where we need to end up, I assume all town players have vaabi as their destination.

So, Notoriety makes me think it might be useful for everyone to claim Role Name now (is that allowed by the no-paraphrase rule?). Maybe I'm missing something, but having the ability to pick a different name after your real one is exposed is a big advantage for scum.

Flay - I just looked back at the rules and I guess it is a little ambiguous, but I assumed when someone's notoriety is raised above the threshold the announcement "xvart is Joe Blow the poop scooper" instead of "you know that Joe Blow the poop scooper is in the game."

Interesting on reread that AlmasterGM was one of the people objecting to a mass nameclaim. DGB will laugh at me for saying it, but I think it might be worth revisiting that. At the least, we can start to look for patterns. Nobody does it until at least a majority of living players agree, though...

Take this with a massive pinch of salt, I know for a fact that Almaster had legit reasons not to nameclaim apart from his alignment, but I doubt it applies to the rest of the scum. I can elaborate on this if needed, I already did in my quicktopic, but no one seems to be in it, apart from me and Alm.

What did Almaster say that made you think he had legit reasons, when it turns out he probably didn't (i.e. his name looks much like mine)? That doesn't make any sense...

It's nothing he said, based on my role pm. Al and me are/were 'rivals' and his name appeared in my role pm (character name) and vice versa I would assume. I actually thought you were him, and that's why you were asking for the name claim to try and out me. If he died before me I got a 'bonus' and I would assume vice versa.
