Narsis, it doesn't matter if you're going to get shot tonight. Assuming your town, you can still try to help us find scum, or at least give a list of who you think are scum so we can note it if you flip town. Giving up doesn't help the town one bit.

if it's worth anything, i'm finding it strange that this is the second day in a row where someone has claimed abilities and gandalf has called them obvscum for the claim because it doesn't mesh with the abilities he has. in the first case he was wrong. so i dont see why we should trust him so much about malthusis.

I very vaguely outlined it 403 and 411 (Chess talked about it in 404) but technically it was this:

In my conversation about Adumbro, I said that he pretty much blended in with what the general consensus of the town except that he named Katsuki as town-read. This sort of stuck out to me as protecting his partner somewhat. This, along with Katsuki lightly bussing Adumbro for lurking but then scolding me when I make up a case to vote him (which I mentioned along with a few other things on p34). This along with thing I quoted seem like an unnatural set of coincidences. I do admit it's fairly vague and not enough alone to make me lynch either of them, but along with the other things I mentioned make me raise my eyebrows a bit.

And by the way, I wasn't saying that malt was scum because shield was too obvious. I was simply saying that his claim didn't prove that he was town at all. The part that actually supported him being scum was the part about JK vs. doc.

tbh i view the JK as a weakened RB. so it does have it's uses. and besides, what you are questioning isn't whether he has the JK ability, but rather that the mod wouldn't give a JK ability to a protown player with unlimited doc protects. and that is modWIFOM and something we can't really know.

As I said I already have a V/LA for cause which resulted on me being universally inactive (as I said, check the other games I was in, they all have massive gaps including one that was in lylo), am I scum in them all?


When I've fully caught up (probably this weekend) I'll have substantially more input.

As I said, still working on catching up so I didn't know. So if there were substantial reasons to suspect Katsuki, why did chesskid say that it was a subtle defense of Katsuki when it clearly was attacking lynching lurkers without other cause as a policy?

Because chess IS town. The JK v. doc thing is that if I had unlimited docs, and a two-shot JK, I would almost certainly use the doc every single night.

1. It's much easier to decipher who the scum will kill than which scum will perform the kill(since the logical move for scum is for the most under the radar scum to perform the kill).
2. If you thought someone was going to be killed, then surely you thought they were town, and hence wouldn't want to roleblock them.

So how does a role with unlimited docs and a two-shot JK make ANY sense whatsoever?

@Doombunny: Why I said your associating my lack of scumhunting with malthusis' was BS, was because I was V/LA for a lot of days, not to mention RL is getting in the way (aka, final examinations).

TO SUM EVERYTHING UP, I WOULD LOVE FOR A MALTHUSIS LYNCH RIGHT NOW. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO PUT THE CASE ON HIM TOGETHER. BUT HIS CASE ON ME IS BS. CLAIMS TO HAVE HAD NO MATERIAL TO ANALYZE BEFORE I STARTED POSTING AFTER MY V/LA, YET WHEN ASKED FOR A CASE, HIS CASE WAS BASED ON STUFF I POSTED D1.

Regardless, I'm not sure why that's relevant. I DO think that at least for today, we should lynch out of those that have already claimed or at least pseudo-claimed. There's almost certainly scum somewhere in there, so it's really not a bad idea. Especially malthusis

I still don't get it. How does me voting AdumbroDeus have anything to do with chainsawing? Chainsawing is when someone defends someone by attacking their attacker.
