I apologize for not commenting on recent events, but after the fiasco that was Mini 1007, I've decided to just read straight ahead from page 1, so I'm deliberately skipping everything you guys just said. Unfortunately, Thor665 is correct in that I can't read 30 pages in less than 3 days, and this week hasn't been the greatest for me. So, um... I'm going to be on

limited access today and tomorrow

. I will have contribution at least a few days before deadline, though.

Just know, as a basic, that you have a vote decision between shotty and redtail. I'm for a redtail lynch, Thor is for a shotty lynch. Current argument (just so you're up to speed).

I'm on page 16. If I were to make a ruling right now based on Day 1 and what I've read of Day 2, I would call for DemonHybrid's blood. However, the present situation with drmyshottyizsik and redtail896 is rather interesting and goes counter with my current opinion of those two slots, so I guess I need to read moar before I pass immature judgment.

As you guys can see, I've returned. The film was pretty good; it's better than I expected, at least. I think I need to resist hunting down my copy of the book, though, lest I never finish reading this thread.

I don't think I'd bank on doing nothing as the way to save myself at that point, and I'd probably feel doomed - therefore I'd try something to try to at least convince Thor not to hammer me. Heck, at the very least I'd have voted Shotty at this stage to try and make it competitive. Instead he does nothing.

I'm not in favor of lynching DemonHybrid or Thor665.

That leaves drmyshottyizsik and redtail896.

drmyshottyizsik's Far_Cry vote is abominable, but I dislike his redtail896 vote more because it looks to me as though he waited for someone else to draw the line first. The problem is drmyshottyizsik himself, so I'll reserve final judgment until I've taken a closer look at nhammen.

redtail896's "last scum" comment looks like a slip; it's spontaneous. The thing that bothers me is what Thor665 observed in post 766. The threat of a hammer on Friday was real; there was no sign that I'd finish anytime soon, and both redtail896 and Thor665 know how long I take to catch up. If redtail896 were scum, he'd have done something.

In a nutshell: If deadline were to hit within two minutes, I'd lynch drmyshottyizsik. Since it's not, I'd like to take a few hours off to recover, re-read areas of interest, and run some data before I slap down a vote.

Equinox at least seems to understand where I'm coming from. Even if you don't agree with me I'd like you to at least admit that you understand the tells I'm pointing out because I think you're starting to tunnel with how sternly you're dismissing them. I'm a bit of a twit, but this is a reasonable set of tells I'm presenting over here and is *certainly* at least as strong as the current redtail case.

It's not. I'm looking at everything from all angles. I'm talking about others' play and not trying to frantically tie everything to redtail.

Your weird back and forth thing

You don't get the point. There is a debate between lynching shotty and lynching redtail today that is still going on. If you were scum redtail, would you really say anything and risk the scale being tipped towards you? The day could pretty much go 50/50.

But knowing that the decision is still on the table with Equinox still needing to decide, why say anything that they might regret? I could say the same thing about shotty, too.
