Unless you did something extremely retarded that would make people vote for you at a fast rate, I think it makes a difference. Except in the situation mentioned previously, pretty much every single player will wait for a lynch target to claim before taking them out, so unless your case is a totally lost cause (which it isn't), you should've waited until then.

1. I think I mentioned somewhere that I retracted this point. It may have been related to chess however.
2. I disagree and talked about it with Adumbro, any extra arguements about it should be taken out of thread however.

Its not as risky, especially since you knew you would probably have time to post again before you got lynched. For example, people could have switched over from you to RBT before you got to L-2 or L-1. If someone did lynch you before you got to claim... well they're just stupid and would have gotten lynched the next day. There's no reason to claim if you don't have to.

Yeah that is strawmanning. Vezok's play makes sense, considering what power he claimed. A governor shot is something you use at L-1, not claim at L-1 so someone can hammer you before you use it. Claiming it at L-2/L-3 is tech.

Twisting his argument into "claiming at L-10000000 is good" is definitely strawmanning.

I don't fully understand your wiki comment, but from my experience, Chainsawing on D1 is not a scumtell, since town can chainsaw people who attack townreads of theirs. Happens all the time. Someone flips scum though, changes the entire picture.
