On another note, the neighbor claim is interesting... The 2 sisters, when combined, are commonly known as Twinrova. If they're both dead... it would seem that the Spirit Sage /SHOULD/ be released...

Also, if I am informed correctly, Neighbors don't need to be allignment confirmed? If this is true, I don't like the claim of Spirit Sage.

I think DTM's theory is valid. Aside from that, What don't you like about the spirit sage claim? Chrono's claimed one of the sages. I see no problem with this. Are you going off of the game plot that the two witches mindcontrolled the spirit sage to turn against link?

I /WAS/ influenced a bit by the mind control of the spirit sage... but to me the real reasoning is that I don't like the claim because it seemed to jump on the fact that the twins died... If you get a power from Twinrova dying, and you are TOWN, why claim it?

Because Chronopie and Substrike, if town, should have been attacking at least one or two of the neighbors. If they were not attacking at least one of their neighbors, they are scum. It would give me a much better read on two of the main lynch candidates of the day.

That's what I want them to do. If they fail to find anyone in their group scummy, they are scum.
Scum have more of a motivation to attack people who are not in their neighbor group, because they want to unlock their powers instead of lynch scum. Town want to unlock their powers too, but that isn't as strong a motivator as lynching scum.

Heck Hascow warned us in invite 7 that he wanted to break from the scum in the neighbourhood group. It's still possible (but getting unplausable) that all of them are town aligned. (recall my earlier question to that sage group that I wanted them to discuss amongst themselves).

This isn't about what is true about scum in the neighbor group. This is about WHAT THEY THINK is true. If they haven't been attacking a neighbor, they are scum. It is that simple. If they have been attacking a neighbor, it doesn't mean that they aren't scum, but it does mean that they are more likely to be town.

Town neighbors will be operating under the assumption that some of their neighbors are scum, and their suspicions will reflect that. Scum neighbors (bad scum who don't know how to act like town as a neighbor, anyway), will be operating under the assumption that their neighbors are town, because they already know who the scum is in their neighbor group.

You're saying, "Tell us who you suspect in the group." Which lets everyone know who is in the group. I don't think this is info that needs to be let out right now. What you are saying the town would gain is not true.

Scenario 1: They are scum. They claim to be suspicious of one of their own. In your book, they get protown points and if that person is lynched scum it looks pretty good for the rest of them. That's how scum bussing works.

Scenario 2: There is a scum in their group. They suspect him. Just normal scumhunting that doesnt need to have his affiliation as a neighbor laid out.

Scenario 3: There is a scum in their group. They don't suspect him. We've outed neighbors for nothing.

Scenario 4: There is no scum in the group. We again, have outed neighbors for nothing and gone on a wild goose chase.

How again does this help the town any more than run of the mill scum hunting? It doesnt. You're looking for bonus info that helps you kill PRs before they hurt you.
