No mention of scum, but "under the radar" sounds like you think it was a deliberate act, Espy, and not a player that doesn't know he's too quiet. Is that what you meant Espy?Espeonage wrote:VOTE: SC
His iso looks very under the radarish after setting up a rqs that he likes.

He voted for Blackberry with reason and then switched his vote to sc with no reason.Flame wrote:Cater 88 - That "meh" feeling about 86...times 100. Care to elaborate on this one please?
You voted him (bringing more attention to what he was doing) in order to deflect attention away from his question? Explain.BB wrote:
Excellent job answer my actual question. Now, why did you vote for me? I didn't vote for BlackBerry because I thought he was scum, I voted for him to get the game moving in the right direction.
He's scummy but not scummy? Setting yourself up to go either way.Esp wrote:UNVOTE: SC
SCs rebuttal actually gives me even worse scummy vibes from him but tbh I don't think he is scum yet. Not sure where my vote should go for now but I may as well leave it off for now.Vote: EspeonageTown - 3-1-0

Part reminder to myself to make a better post tomorrow, part asking the mod a question:
Prozac: You'll probably be doing one without this request, but votecount? Also, Moo has yet to post. Not to be a nag here, but are we in the replacement zone, or possibly second-prod zone?Defined by who I dislike, not who I like~-

If I don't get enough support for Bub Bidderskins (I'm just worried about my original vote reason now), I'll happily switch over to Espeonage.STRANGERCOUG: Stranger Than You!

I look forward to your response Espeonage... I guess it will only be tomorrow, but its something. I think this game would benefit from some activity from the currently largest wagon."I can't not give mad props to the murderbot 9000 that was q21." - Spyrex, after Scummies Invitational 2010.
You know those times when you wish you could think of something really funny or interesting to say, but just can't?... Yep, this is one of those times.-

Part of the reasoning for Bub Bidderskins after I voted him was that he would not tell me what was wrong with the answer to his question and insisted that I ignored it. Now that he's realized I did not do so, I'm not going to push him for that anymore. His voting Blackberry for asking a theory question still stands as part of my case.Jahudo wrote:That explains Moo's absence, something I was wondering about.

unvote;(L-2)
Vote: Espeonage
His unvote could make sense if his SC vote started off like a RVS vote, but it was serious from the start. So what it looks like is, he started investigating someone he thought could be scum; he found more reasoning to think scum; he unvotes. It doesn't make sense.
Ok, gotcha. I thought you were worried in a confidence sense, but you say you are still concerned with how Bub voted Blackberry.StrangerCoug wrote:His voting Blackberry for asking a theory question still stands as part of my case.
I do think he could have handled the situation in a more straight-forward way, where his vote would have been open to less interpretation from the start. But he did explain himself pretty quick, so its hard to say he could have been thinking opportunistically. So I share some of that concern but do not think he is the most suspicious one here.-

[b[Unvote. Vote Espeonage[/b] (Still L-2)
Just feels like I'm doing something this way. We don't even have a good defence/ chainsaw defence to spark some discussion. This wagon is becoming useless, but he's still the scummiest player so far. I'm caught between vote the scum or move on in an attempt to generate more info... vote the scum wins, but only just."I can't not give mad props to the murderbot 9000 that was q21." - Spyrex, after Scummies Invitational 2010.

Some of the votes may be ill-reasoned if reasoned at all, but if someone is "the scummiest player so far," then the wagon on him is not 100% useless. That's a contradiction of terms to me.STRANGERCOUG: Stranger Than You!

What I mean is that its not currently doing anything for the game. It isn't generating discussion and therefore not generating info. Its great for the town if we can get some activity going, lynch him and get a scum flip (which I feel more likely than a town flip at the moment). I didn't say the wagon was 100% useless I said it was becoming useless - the lack of activity around it is a large factor in the game's stagnation and if that stagnation continues we will get to the deadline ad though Espy will be lynched there will be almost nothing to draw from that lynch (in the form of VC analysis, interactions, etc) other than the flip itself.StrangerCoug wrote:Some of the votes may be ill-reasoned if reasoned at all, but if someone is "the scummiest player so far," then the wagon on him is not 100% useless. Aside: If this game didn't have an special deadline lynch threshold then the stagnation would lead to a no lynch the the wagon would indeed become 100% useless."I can't not give mad props to the murderbot 9000 that was q21." - Spyrex, after Scummies Invitational 2010.

Okay, my computer's been fixed and I'm getting caught up in all my games right now.
So far this game has been kind of in-active. We need to hear more from espeonage.
Oi espy, what do you think of the wagon on you? I would like to see a good case on Espy before I commit to lynch him, though.ShowTotal: 17/15/1

Sorry about the need to be prodded. Waiting on Espeonage.
It isn't generating discussion because Espeonage hasn't commented or defended himself. But it is interesting that you join a wagon and claim it useless.q21, 167 wrote:What I mean is that its not currently doing anything for the game. It isn't generating discussion and therefore not generating info.

In an effort to push up activity, some ammendments will take place.
1. Prods will still be for 72 hours non posting. But if someone has not posted for 48 hours, you may request and get a prod then. Weekends count as weekends and not a single day. V/LA will be taken into consideration with this.
2. Whilst I strive (and thus far failed) to do a vote count every page, I will check for prods every day, I will try and do a votecount every day provided there is a new page worth of content.
3. Deadline is still Nov 2nd, however if I have to prod 3 people or more in a 72 hour period, the deadline will be taken forward 24 hours. This will not happen if deadline is less than 48 hours away, instead the 24 hours will be deducted from the next day.Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.-
