From what I have seen of Benmage v Fate, I do not think that Benmage should kill Fate. It is true that they will continue bickering, but I would prefer not to have town killed by something as stupid as the fact that 2 players don't like each other. If anything I think it is scummy that Benmage is trying to use that logic.

Please tell me if I have anything wrong about the relationship between the two, as I just did a quick skim over what has happened.

Or, I could be a smart Investigator, who read the fucking rules, and has a brain....... i wonder....

sorry for quad post, but i want to rectify a few things:

1) sorry to be so abrasive, but you all feel lost when I'm typically the lost-VI
2) I feel as if I understand the game completely, or moreso than others, however, even if not completely
3) We need to coordinate who we should lynch, our actions tomorrow night, and get more information on who heard noise
Q) What are everyones' thoughts on everyone stalking and killing one person? I feel this could help the town.

I agree with number three.

About the question, I say no. It will give murderers a better chance of hiding, will increase the chance of chaos, and there would be a higher chance of hitting town than scum. I am all for mass warding and rezing though. If ward stops craft fetish, and the scum only have X fetishes tonight, they could not craft any new ones due to the wards, effectively removing the scums night kill. Also, if we ward in circles, as in A wards B, B wards C, C wards A, we can tell who is doing something at night besides warding if the person they are supposed to be warding is killed. This should eliminate the scums night kill. The only flaw with this plan is that we would not have grave robbers, so we would not know the faction of people being killed.

i am kind of against the Q i asked myself, but it could end in a quick win, you know that right?
only reason *I* am against it, is not murderers, but because of chaos.

we could have benmage rob graves after he kills fate though... or just have a few graverobbers unwarded, but then those in the ward circle could rob graves when needed... we need to see flips, or i wouldnt care. actually, we could randomly choose to ward gravesights when we please to prevent them from getting dust and not worry about flip... but then we would be stuck in WIFOM land with basically janitorized roles.

Why would he PTW for cult, but not for town?

There's a problem with warding/rezzing in circles, and that's if the cult uses the Greater Ritual, since it would take two rezzes to stop the kill going through.

The flaw with a mass ward circle is in the fact that a ward on a player warding cancels that players ward.

Fate/Benmage is interesting. Out of the two, I'm pretty sure Benmage is scum.

I've read some of the SA II but haven't played in any.

For 10 pages in though minus that slapfight there's some good things a happenin'. Like a laundry list of towns being all towns BUT THIS CAN WAIT.

This struck me as anti-town (it was later retracted, but was this because Fur didn't want to look anti-town, or because he didn't want to be anti-town?)

Whilst this plea looks pro-town on first glance, it makes me worried that Fur is already planning on going the killer route. By stressing that town can win if they band together, by stressing that no one needs to make a second kill - if he then goes on to become a murderer, he may have dissuaded some people from taking that route, thus increasing his chances. Moreover, finding out who stalked also tells him who his competition could be later in the game.

It is POSSIBLE that he Stalked but didn't want to admit it yet, was caught in Lynch All Liars, appealed to the mod in desperation, and was fortunate that the rules had changed. Admittedly, that is a stretch (besides, in my opinion scum would have more likely said "Oh wait I stalked, whoops wrong thing!"), but it IS possible. In Hito's "confirm" he only mentions that El heard noise, not the fact that Furc didn't hear noise. It looks a little suspect, as does the fact that Furc is constantly affirming how great Hito is - but Hito is otherwise giving me a townie vibe and Furc has actually otherwise had some good pro-town moves:

^All of this is well thought out. Could be a little too well thought out - I'm thinking that this "5/7" would spring to a cultist's mind quicker than it would to a townie. Overall though, I think Furcolow has started the game sided with the town. Whether or not he has intentions of becoming a killer later, I'm not sure...
Lets start this party off with something important: Fur is town. Not because of the confirm business - its just one of those actually playing like a brofessional things I like.

So, the confirm part I can get behind as per MoI's.

But this?

We get a LOT of words that say, all nice and quantified, Fur is a stalker, no wait, he's cult, no wait, I think he's town.

And, of course, no vote - because he thinks he's town BUTTT quantified enough that a wagon jumpin dance party can take place.

No I meant in regards to the coincidence comment. It implies that there was reasoning for doing the same thing as your predecessor.
