@redtail - There isn't a great case on Far_Cry.

It occurs to me you haven't offered your thoughts on Nexus, have you? Care to toss them out while we're waiting for jimfinn to compose his false townie strategy post?

He managed to go through all of D1 without making a single real vote (I'm discounting the RVS singer and the Jack vote here), and indeed without giving us many reads at all. Today, he's gone squarely after jimfinn, who is admittedly an easy target (but still a scummy one). His ISO23, as I've stated, is mostly information and simple observation; it doesn't really have any scumhunting to it. In short, I find many of the things he's done rather scummy, most notably his avoidance of taking definitive stances (except on jimfinn).

I find singer's defense of Nexus on D1 interesting, even though I don't really know what to conclude. It seems far too obvious to be scum defending scum; mayhap singer thought we would lynch Nexus and she could get town points for the defense? Mayhap she thought it

was

too obvious, and so felt safe doing it? I could easily descend into a bunch of WIFOM about this, but the fact remains that it bugs me and may ultimately be why I'm voting jim right now over Nexus.

So, that strikes me as also what the Nexus case boils down to. Both post relatively infrequently and fill their posts with fluff. Both haven't made serious, logical cases against anyone. The only differences are the more obvious singer-Nexus connection and the fact that Nexus's posts tend to be longer.

Seriously, though, Nexus has jumped in and attempted to scumhunt mostly when pressure mounts on him. That's when he makes long, relatively useless posts. At least jimfinn is consistent in his lack of contribution.

For what use I've been. I fucked up and missed the night phase. So no, I have nothing else to back up my claims. I was hoping I'd avoid getting to L-1 and the lurker would be lynched so as I could do something N2, but since noone believed me, I have no choice.

@saporovirus - Why are you shifting onto the Far_Cry wagon after a Nexus meltdown? I still don't understand that wagon and no one has bothered to even try to explain it really - they just say "because of connections to singersinger" so I'm not sure if they're idiots or I am. I'm much more of a mind to hammer jimfinn then try to run up Far_Cry.

There still exists a movement against Far Cry for I'm not sure what. My request is still open; I want to see the case against him.

As for the claim, I'm inclined to believe it for now. Notably, if he is lying scum, he was clearly planning to pull this gambit 3 days ago, and the breadcrumb suggests that he was planning it early D1. Seems like a bold thing for a first time scum to do.

Of course, if there exists a counterclaim, I'd love to hear it.
