So that a no-lynch does not occur. Cause a no-lynch is the worst thing town can do in this game. Mod has not confirmed or denied the rules just yet and I have seen mods flip flop between said rules in game.

At deadline, ½ the original number of votes will be required for a lynch. In the case of a tie, the person who first received the required number of votes will be lynched. If this number is not met, a No Lynch will occur. There will be no reduced number of votes in LyLo.

That means that, on Day 1, since it's not lylo, 3 votes are necessary for a lynch. Right now, raymondkurayami would be lynched if nothing else changed before deadline. If, before deadline, one person on his wagon voted for HopOnMyJoystick, making two wagons at 3 votes each, then raymondkurayami would still be lynched at deadline since he reached 3 votes first.

uses for a cop softclaim by a VT on D1 - NK-baiting is a valid town tactic. But I absolutely doubt that Andrew would pull

off. Hence I do not really know what to make of it, but softclaiming both cop and scum is defefinitely anti-town, if not scummy.
Ray on the other hand seems to have flaked out. I would propose to have him replayced and pressure the hell out of his replacement on D2 and go for an andrew lynch right now.

He hasn't posted in 81 hours and hasn't picked up his prod, so I'll look for one, but deadline is still tomorrow, if he's not lynched it's likely that he'll be replaced during night.

Andrew is my only 'real; town read atm, so I definitely don't support his lynch; guess it's time to throw that out there.

@Hop: It's not hours, it's like a day. Count in reduced lynch requirements and it is still possible to switch target, most people will do their best to check in before DL, any way.
And what would you do if Ray suddenly turned up with a PR claim, for example?

@SD: Mostly from gut/meta. I have played some 15+ games with him.

The one game I was in with him where he was scum I picked it on day 1 as well.

With that said, he is a very erratic player and I often end up second guessing myself about whether he is being scummy or just retard townie. Generally it's just the latter, and you can tell his forced scum posts. That's just my personal read of his play, but it's better than my reads on anyone else.

Which puts Andrew at 2 votes and Raymond at 3. Raymond is still going to be lynched at deadline unless someone else on the Raymond wagon switches over or two people not on the Raymond wagon vote Andrew.

I really would like tomorrow to be devoted to some good old scum hunting and we need to get away from the shit fest that is VI play and childish bickering. It's already hurting town alot. Needs to stop...

I need some time to think about the best way to proceed with this so that town have the best advantage further down the track in a worse case scenario for whatever occurs today. Suppose I'll do that during the next four hours while I'm stuck in class
