It did.
Fortune cookie, huh? That didn't spring to my mind immediately, but yeah that's pretty logical. Good answer! Good answer!

Crystal ball and Tarot cards were the first things that popped into my head upon reading the question. Fortune cookie was a really good answer though. I think I might know 2 of the remaining 3. Let's hope bhavi can keep us alive here.

well whatever. doesn't matter. It really does happen all the time. As a side note, what do you think about my answer? Remember, don't give away any other possible answers, just tell me what chance you think it has of winning.

Sorry anyway.
As for your answer, I think it's perfectly acceptable. Then again, I thought even better of your last one. I still can't believe it didn't make it. Ouija Board wasn't the one I was thinking of, but it's a good answer. The one I'm thinking of is pretty obscure, so it's unlikely to be correct.

Agree.
My team, let's make a dialogue here. PM me suggestions. dana's the only one that has done so.
And I am almost 100% sure Cybele's right about the rules. Now that your team is playing it, if you pass, that just means you get a strike and we have to get one answer to get the round. No matter what now, if your team has 3 strikes, we only need 1 correct answer to get it all.

mallow... that was their first strike. >>
dana's suggestions: hands, feet, air, car
I was banking on getting the baby's diaper one, so... I could go with the air (as in the air in a room) or hands. The fact that the armpits had to be specified suggests to me that there is at least one other body part there.

I'll take that as a big compliment.
But, to be honest, I had to consider just purposely getting this one wrong as damage control. The thing is, if I passed it to the other team at this point, they wouldn't be able to come too close to us even if they got the number 1 answer. In other words, the absolute worst-case scenario is that we get all but one of the answers and then they get that one. It wouldn't be terrible to let them take this as long as there is another round. That being said, I decided to go for it on this one anyway, wagering that they won't get 300 points this round (not sure if it's even set up so that's possible since usually the totals don't add up to exactly 100). At least this way they don't have the obvious choice to go for.

I'll throw some more guesses up there closer to deadline, but what I'm thinking right now is being chased, drowning, and bugs. And clowns, if those don't count in monsters.

lol I think they just pretend to. They love yelling "Play! Play! Play!". And plus, if they play, they get more opportunities for "Good answer! Good answer!" XD

Yeah, you're probably right. The teams on the show actually very, very rarely ever passed the questions, which I always thought was a strategic error. It's kind of like Wheel of Fortune. Did you know in Wheel of Fortune during the final round where Pat spins the wheel and all consonants give whatever price he lands on that you can give as many answers as you want? Everyone always gets a letter and then they'll give one answer, but you can answer multiple times. I saw that on an episode one time.
Also (one final thing) Guppy is coming in despite the game having already started (since this was talked about before the game started).
Huh... didn't know you could do that (but then again, I usually didn't watch WoF long enough to get to the final round). Interesting.
Another error: going on Jeopardy, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, or even Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader if you are dumb.
Not a strategic error: using one of your three remaining lifelines on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire's final question to call your dad and tell him you're going to win $1,000,000. Free phone call!

She didn't say that we're playing yet, mallow. >.>
And you can post in-thread if you're the first one answering, dana. So anyway, let's play. This one looks like a lot of easy answers with maybe one hard one.
Mod Edit: Sorry, I accidentally overwrote this post. I have a habit of hitting edit to capture a quote and then forgetting I hit edit and thinking it's a new post.

Snap. Nice one, mallow.
Collar was actually among the things I was thinking, but I ruled it out since it was just part of a shirt. I suppose it is made for the neck though... in a way.

This might actually be one to pass. Though, on the other hand, we would then have to know one that they don't, as opposed to getting one or two and them missing. Gamble either way. Your choice, SF.

Looks like we have enough teams for the new round (might be two games at once), Andrius, but I'm sure we could use another team on the waiting list to play whoever wins first or something.

This seems like an easy one and I have faith in my team, so...
play
!
@RC, For the first round the #1s get first crack. After this question is done, the #2s get to go at it first to decide which team gets control of the question. The only time you are able to answer out of turn is in the Bonus Round (or if you're #1 and someone on your team hasn't shown up for their turn within the deadline stated in the rules).
