Claiming was a damn good idea. We outed our least important power role in exchange for a confirmed townie. And the GRAND STRATEGY OF BREAKAGE was obvious. Trying to kill me would be flat out stupid. Even iff I don't get protected, mafia can't kill me because I most likely will be.

i just read the roles. the guy who asks to claim fails, heres why

6 Doctors of varying sanities. Sanities are as follows:
if all aim nurse = gg
"Normal" Doctor - Protects a player each night. protect 1
Naive Doctor - "Protections" do nothing. nurse still has 1 protect
Paranoid Doctor - Roleblocks and protects a player. nurse has 2 protect
Quack Doctor - "Protections" actually kill the target player. nurse has 1 protect
CPR Doctor - "Protections" only work in the target was also targeted for a kill. If not, the target dies. nurse has 2 protect (depends on what other ppl do)
Weak Doctor - Protects a player each night, but dies if he targets a Mafia Goon.

finally, why it fails:we all aim nurse, nothing happens: how do we know what doctor we are. also if we lynch someone today and hes the doctor, we dont know what doctor he is. gandalf then becomes the doctor of whoever the doctor was.
but then we cant all protect gandalf , because the someone will roleblock him (mafia would just haha and kill someone else). hence, the equilibrim of balanve is very important. if 1 doctor dies, everything gets sccrewed up. so it is best if we no lynch, letting doctor do own thing at night, then you can see what happen.

..... Are you seriously implying that we can't let any of us die? And NOT ALL of the docs have to protect me. In fact, none of them do. They can make their own personal judgement, and then the mafia can WIFOM the crap out of themselves. Of course, there is a chance that the quack doctor might be the only person who targets me, in which case I'll die. But that's a low probability, and one I'm perfectly willing to take to get a confirmed and virtually unkillable townie. The fact that I get to switch to my confirmed meta just makes it all the better :3

AGM: Stop being cut-throat. I'm not scum and I figured it was the best idea to find the nurse. I was originally hoping to catch a stupid scum claiming nurse but VV ruined that little side package.

Anyway nurse is a good thing to have, scum already know the townies you noobs and because everyone has the same role (well not really but everyone is an unknown type of doc) scum don't get anything from the claim. So how would rolefishing even be productive.

It just takes some logic and probability but it is possible to work out whta happened to an extent.
