Difficult question. There are lurkers of different kind. In general lurkers are more liekyl scum, but there are many different reasons to lurk. I cannot see lurkers as a serious issue so far. So as long as there is no condcrete case to discuss about I would like to adjourn this discussion.

Yes. Definitely. At least in 99% of all cases. There are no reasons or motivations for townies to lie. Lies and yontradictions are IMO the hardest scumtells there are, only rivaled by cop investigations.

Dickov, if you are townie then act in towns best interest. Claiming AtE is NOT in towns best interest.
I said it before, stop feeling sorry for yourself and scum hunt.
Discuss who your find scummy, explain reasons and try to find some scum.

I'm prepared to vote for you again based on you putting someone at L-1 (admittedly during RVS but with a very poor reason) and your withdrawal about not wanting to scum hunt.
Scum hunting is the ONLY way townies can win, and your efforts to discourage it suggests that you aren't playing for the town win condition.

Your points are valid. I just do not consider them particularly strong at this point in time, especially considering that both of them are newbs. However, I have seen two players falling into some kind of strange and overtunneled dialogue three or four times in my previous games and it always turned out that one of them was scum. So keeping an eye on the developement of that discussion is definitely worth it.

Wow there's a good bit to read! This is my first online game, so I didn't expect I would be reading quite this much....

After an initial skim of all the posts, IGMEOY bhavitgoyal and raymond!

First of all raymond makes a statement:

Now this may be scumtell OR it just be strange way to word his question. Either way it DOES warrant an suspicion, but does NOT automatically mean he is scum. That's why I won't change my vote just yet, but IGMEOY.

Now bhavitgoyal is either a townie who is trying to get the scum to slip up by pressuring them OR is mafia who is using this a cover and a way to place suspicion on innocents. Again not changing my vote yet, but IGMEOY.

I'll need a closer look at all the posts that have been made so far, but right now this is all I got.

BTW since I don't have any real evidence against him either

Heh. I remember one of my earlier games.

I went V/LA for 2 days only, came back and found 11 pages of WALL posts, and every time I tried to post I would get at least 3+ preview posts. Scary!
Some games tend to be rather active, some not so much..

1. When is the deadline for Day 1?

2. I'm confused about rule #6 under Voting,...... . When you say 1/2 the original number of votes do you mean like (this round i.e.) 4 will required? And in case of a tie, wouldn't they both have the same number of votes (so they both have the required number) ??

Varying lengths depending on mod for other games.
