Unless the mod is playing a mindscrew game with us, (which I am now treating as a distinct possibility) bv310 needs to die tomorrow, for one scum down. There should not be two Saitos.

There shouldn't
really
be two usurper-makers, but it's more believable than two Saitos.

Anon, are you taking the mod's statement to mean he is the architect? Who is to say he does not simply require sleep and meant what he said at face value?
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

Well, this was a bad time to take V/LA I see. Sorry I didn't get back this morning like I'd planned on, so I could have maybe read up on the game in time to weigh in on the Chrono lynch. I'll start rereading for D2 now I suppose.

With 12 alive, it took 7 to lynch

Everyone had been pointing fingers and yelling at each other.
No one really had any clue to as who was doing the mindfucking, but for every word spoken, they grew somewhat wiser.

After some accusations, claims, counterclaims and counter-counterclaims,
the town decided they would lynch
Chronopie
, and see if that got them further.

Well, what it got them was a dead
Saito
.
In his suit they found large amounts of cash.
Typical businessman, thinking money could help solve any problem, even when unconscious.

After getting a good nights rest in your own hotel rooms, you return to the lobby to continue your discussions and witchhunting. At least some of you return.
bv310
and
Seraphim
are nowhere to be found. Did they find a safe way out of the hotel? Or did they lose their mind, and end up in the raw subconscious called Limbo?

Either way, you will have to continue the fight without them.

Yeah, I don't see where the mod in-game spec is coming from, really, other than that the Mod asked us to speculate about why we got a longer twilight. Since TM is on CET+time stamps, he probably just didn't want to do flavor until the next morning.

Also, I have never in my life seen a game where lynching the mod has a pro-town outcome, so....

Hello again, comrades. I am going to make an educated guess and run off the belief that there were scum on the Chrono wagon.

That means there is scum in [Seraph, bv310, BloodC, Iecerint, Ooba, Anon, Tuberk]. Undoubtedly there is scum more specifically in [Seraph, bv310], but I would not doubt a partner also jumping on the wagon. I somehow doubt that
both
of [bv310, Seraph] are scum, mostly because it would be colossally unintelligent to have two scumbuddies sacrifice themselves to lynch one townie. Unless, of course, mafia have the perverse goal of getting through as many levels as possible, or something of that ilk.

I am going to assume bv310 and Seraph are at the very least unlynchable for now, and I am not going to vote BloodC, Anon, ooba when, for now, I see no reason to disbelieve their claims.

That leaves Iecerint and Tuberk, and I have reason to believe voting Iecerint will result in more information gained at this moment.

Vote: Iecerint

Who is scum?

1. Exactly one of Seraph/bv310 is scum on the basis that they were both NK'd (flavor vagueness notwithstanding). On that basis alone, they could both be town (e.g. if Mal is SK), but the double overlaps with Chrono makes that start to hit SoD.

2. If there is a second scum on the wagon (which doesn't seem like the self-evident case to me since the wagon wasn't evenly split), the obvious choice looks like BC. He's been the scummiest player content-wise; I don't understand why a BP claim overrules that. I could see Tuberkulos, too; looking at him in iso, his content is kinda uninspiring, and his Chrono vote post in particular.

3. I'm not sure "find the scum in this wagon" is a very helpful exercise when we've already found at least one scum on the wagon, though, especially since the wagon wasn't the close sort that necessitates scumhelp.

4. Also, I don't think it makes sense to (in effect) rule out players who have claimed something and only vote players who have yet to claim their roles. That seems like the opposite of the right idea on average, if anything.

5. Is there a reason you changed the order of the wagon when you listed [Seraph, bv310, BloodC, Iecerint, Ooba, Anon, Tuberk]? It was [Anon, Seraphim, BloodCovenent, bv310, tuberkulos, ooba, Iecerint]. I can't figure out what made you produce the order you did.

I will start with 5. The reason you cannot figure out what made me produce that particular order is that... there is no reason. I have in my possession an .ods file for keeping track of votes and I have moved player columns around based on what I have intuited their alignments to be, and for assistance in determining possible scum partners, et cetera. Other than that, there is no logical or orderly reason for players to be where they are at present.

4. Of course. But I was not voting you because I think you are scum, necessarily. I was voting you for a reaction, which I got.
Data, breadcrumbing actual intention wrote:I have reason to believe voting Iecerint will result in more information gained at this moment.
The rest of the post is fluff intended to make you believe I thought I was voting for the most likely scum and coerce you into actually producing content.

3 and 2. This is what I was looking for. ((Out of character for a moment -- not that I've been particularly good at being
in
character to begin with -- I've played with you in a couple games and noticed the level-headed and at least moderately useful Iecerint I have seen in other games missing from this one. With Tuberkulos, on the other hand, I have no meta knowledge to lean on whatsoever. And of the claimed, I think Ooba and Anon are probtown, and BloodC is... a VI at best and scum at worst, and I only have meta knowledge of one of them anyway.))

1. There could also be two scum teams if they are small. The mod has, after all, stated that the game is probably not balanced. Mal being SK does not fit, either. The motivation of Mal was to be with Cobb over anything else; if Cobb is in the game (which he almost certainly is), it makes no sense for her to have to kill him to win.

Happy scumday, ooba.

Unvote; Vote: BloodCovenant

Your vote on the moderator is not pro-town and I request that you cease voting him immediately. Who is scum, sir?
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

OOK @ your cute chart. The effect was that Tubby's position and mine were thematically sorta switched (i.e. that's what stood out from my PoV), so I didn't know if there were shenanigans.

I've played with everyone except Seraphim (but I think he was in WoT and I read that), Tuberkulos, and BC.

MalSK still fits if dying is going to Limbo or whatever as the bit implied. We don't know the NK flavor. But that was just an example.

And yeah, I suppose a cross-kill is possible; hadn't thought about it. But usurper-makers on opposite teams would be the more obvious balancing bit if that sort of thing were in play, especially given 2 of them in-game, but that's not a possibility now, etcetc., so it's still not super likely IMO.

ALSO I THINK I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. <3

Maybe Chrono and Seraph were both town, then. Two usurper-makers and two scumteams does not seem entirely out of the realm of possibility. Tony might pull such a thing on the players, would he not?

((You know who I am? In the sense that I'm an alt, or in the sense that you think you know my role? Or... both? O_O))
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.
