Yeah. Thanks for those, I may use them some day.Ythill wrote:

RC, I already sent you busking tips. The other option is hitchhiking. If you stay on I-5, there is no reason it should take you longer than two days to get here (probably it will only take 1) and it'sfree.
The other problem we had was that it'll already take so long to get there and back that we'd only be able to be there for about a day.
The cons just outweighed the pros. By a lot. Also, I couldn't convince SpyreX to come...Show"Take me to Pleasure Town!" "Look, the most Glorious Rainbow Ever!" "Do me on it!" -

Anyway... I promised y'all an itinerary.
Friday:From around 2pm until sometime in the late afternoon or early evening, we will be getting the guest suite set up, doing shopping, etc. Consensus seems to be that a bar meetup on Friday is good. I'm assuming we will leave for that between 4 and 5:30pm, be back a 3-4 hours later. Someone will be available at the guest suite if people want to show up and get settled in, or they can meet us at the bar. By mid-evening we should all be back at the suite having a good time. The complex is repaving the parking lot on Friday, but will be finished by 7pm. So expect a lot of confusion if you expect to park a car here on Friday before then. Sorry.
Saturday:In-house cooking. BBQ day. Lots of gaming. Saturday is the time to show up if you can only come one day. I'd rather not plan it too specifically, though I'd be interested in running a no-to-low stakes poker tournament in the evening if we have enough players.
Sunday:Since Al isn't coming, we will not have a BBQ on Sunday. Some people will have burned out or headed home. The evening should be mellow. Probably a good time for a RPG one-shot, a movie night, or something that's more oriented to an intimate group.
Damn, I suck at making itineraries. Anyone planning on arriving between 4pm and 10pm on Friday and who wants to meet us at the bar should PM me a cell-phone number and I'll text mine back.
Parking:Still haven't figured this out but we have the Park-n-Ride as a fallback and I have a couple of other ideas to check out. It may not be much of a problem because we're intending to move our van which means we can park two extra cars after 7pm on Friday. People who are arriving earlier or staying longer can be shuttled or take public trans.
Chairs:We got it figured out. Miyu, you still might want to bring a couple, just in case. No harm in having extras.Record:Town 10W/15LScum 4W/1LOther 2W/2LNewbie 1L

Well, Xine could easily fulfill the weekend's naked girl quota all by herself, should she desire to.One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.-

I'm just saying. 72 hours of naked Xine ought to be enough naked girl for anyone. Of course, I keep forgetting your particular brand of sexual deviancy requires you to fuck somebody every 24 hours, lest your testicles explode, I imagine. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. Thanks, boss.
Are we going to spend the entire meet trash-talking Canadians and making lewd jokes about my wife?(probably)
I got confirmations from a few of my MW friends. Though a poorly timed camping trip means that a few can't make it, some others are excited about the prospect.Record:Town 10W/15LScum 4W/1LOther 2W/2LNewbie 1L

I seriously doubt there will be hookups. Now, maybe if Nu was on the guest list...
Then I'll repeat two things I've said to others who couldn't make it. If all goes well, I will be willing to host one of these periodically. Maybe every year. If that happens, it will get larger and more fun with age, and I'll have a big house by this time next year. Secondly, remamber that I'm usually open to hosting out-of-towners whenever so... if you ever find yourself headed to the Pacific Northwest, drop me a PM to take advantage of free crash space.Reck wrote:I really wanted to come visit you guys for this, but Caffwagon depleted what little funds I had leftover.

I'm still trying to figure out my schedule; technically, I'm supposed to work a double shift tomorrow, one in the morning and one in the evening. I'm hoping to trade at least the evening one, though I'll probably still get stuck working two straight shifts then. Hopefully, I'll manage to work it to get off on time. Now that I'm trying to get into drinking, I wouldn't want to miss a guided tour, would I?One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. I don't claim that drinking will ever be a good experience, or that I'll ever enjoy it like others seem to, but I figure it couldn't hurt to try it a few times. I can always go back to not drinking. And assuming that my shifts work out like I hope they will, I should be able to get to your place before 4, which is the time Scotty (that's right, I said it!) said you guys'd be getting ready to head over, so yeah. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies.
