Mini 237- Basic Mafia - Game over!

I've just finished a game (Newbie 142) with Nightfall. We were both townies there. But I'm getting a very different vibe from him in this game than I did in that game.

Remember that we lost that game...
I'm trying not to duplicate that mistake by taking this one a bit slower.
Seeing as we may hit a deadline before my liking though, I may need to spped things up...

Can I get a vote count? And just so everyone knows, if it's between Nightfall and Stewie, I'd rather vote for Nightfall at this point. I think Stewie is perfectly justified in voting for someone to keep himself alive.

Sorry, Choco, but mine is different. I see no harm in revealing that I have a restriction. Mine says I can speak to the others at night but I can't vote more than fifteen times in the game. Then it says that apart from that I'm a plain old townie (without mentioning the other masons).

Doesn't mention anything about what will happen if I try to vote a 16th time, though.

. 3 masons is just about plausable, and having 2 reveal themselves on day 1 makes it virtually certain.

I'm of the same opinion as CA where Stewie is concerned, so I doubt I'll be voting for him. As for an alternative, I think it may be Nightfall, but I'll have to re-read to check before voting.

Interesting that there are posting restrictions etc.. Has nightfall made any effort to clear himself yet?

If he doesn't I will switch my vote to him (based on a post early in the game which I'm hoping he will explain...)

So d8P can only vote 15 times in the game? Interesting. To me it seems that's a weird restriction, mainly because it doesn't seem problematic at all. Let's presume d8P stays alive for 5 days (I think it's unlikely the game will go on for much longer.) Then he can vote for three different people each day. Not a big deal, right? I'm not saying I'm suspicious of him, I just wonder why the Mod included a role like that in the game.

If I get it right, we need 4 votes to lynch someone at the deadline, so Nightfall is one away from a deadline-lynch. I'm still happy with my vote on him, so I think he needs to make a convincing defense very soon.

I've received my prod (oh, the shame! Haven't needed a prod since my first newbie game), and I hadn't forgotten about this one - I've just been busy (I have to say, I don't think a social life actually suits me that well, but sometimes it just happens...) and I've been prioritising games where I was in the middle of big arguments (the fun ones) over the one nearing deadline without much happening (the boring one). Sorry about that...

My current feeling is that neither Nightfall or Stewie deserve lynching - I'd prefer to lynch viqLes or Commodore. On the other hand, I'd rather lynch Nightfall or Stewie than go no-lynch. I'd like to elaborate more but I'm at work so I can't spend too long on my posts, I'll make a more detailed post tonight.

What kind of defense are you looking for?
I can tell you that I'm town, but that really means nothing in terms of a defence right?

My vote on Stoofer, it was a gut vote, but any gut fealing has to be started by something, and the reasons I gave for voting him were the best I could gather.

As for my lurking, I have been pretty busy lately, but with every game I still like to post a fair amount to show that I am not purposely trying to avoid the spotlight. As many of you can probably vouche for me, I ussually post quite a bit about what I think. The problem with this game though is that, I don't see either the past case against Choco, or the current case against Stewie as being that strong, or really having much of anything I can say about them.

Also a good deal of people seem to be saying that they would rather gamble a little and vote me to have a lynch at deadline, instead of going with a no lynch. But wouldn't it make more sense to extend the deadline a little?
