What do you think?

The explanation could be acceptable. I'd need to see more of Abe's playstyle to make an informed judgment about that, but as it stands now I still don't like the action itself from pre-game.

Zach: I think he's town. If he were scum, I don't think he'd say that he knows you're fishing for reactions before unvoting, and instead just unvote and let you have your reaction.
Could you ride the fence any more with that post, Zach?

Do you want me to try?

Really, I'm not in a position to make a good judgment on him based on that explanation alone. I want to see more from him before I decide whether or not I should write the action off.

Also it would be helpful for me to see how others react to this whole exchange, which is key to deciding where he, and others in the game fit.

Anyway, early indication is that you're town. I'm basing this off of something I noted on your play-style recently.

Sup all. I see Zombah-Pug made no comment on me pointing my wand of pressure at him... Could be a sign of a scum not wanting to give anything away by talking too much or making the wrong comment. I officially point my
finger of suspicion
at ZOMBAH-PUG!

The asking about /conform? Yeah, I've never played on mafiascum before, so I've never seen it. I can tell Parker's a joker now, but before I had no clue. The only other time I've played mafia on a forum, it was incredibly aggressive. Aggressive as in, a new post would appear every 20 minutes or less during the day. If you miss out for about 12 hours, you need to catch up on 50ish posts. A typical game of mafia lasted for about 2500 posts (Huge games), so I'm still getting used to these sets of rules and small games. Your vote is fair enough though, as I can see you're just testing my reaction under pressure. You don't seem too scummy
If he were scum, and if this is his first game it would be logical for Abe to humbly back down when pressured by an IC in an attempt to divert attention away from himself. Despite its length the post contains little useful information (excluding Abe's history of the game), size after all can be deceiving seemingly adding grandeur or weight to something of little importance. However I personally doubt that those were Abe's intentions and believe he is town as I find it much more probable that seeing that his "aggression" (as he put it) was only working against him he decided to make amends and back down. What strikes me most however is the "too scummy" bit at the end, does that mean you see something scummy in Zach (and if you do please share it) or was it was merely an expression as when people say "quite" or "not bad" as a form of everyday speech when the words can easily be omitted? (I hope you see what I'm getting at lol)
Anyway, early indication is that you're town. I'm basing this off of something I noted on your play-style recently.
You're basing this off of his recent play - style. Abe mentioned this was his first game, did you mean his recent as in very recent (a few posts back) play-style or have you met each other before? And unless it's a secret, what is this "something" you noted in his play-style?

Kalofer: No, the "too" bit could be entirely omitted. I have no evidence against him currently.

I think this could be scum looking for a easy target (like a lurker) to attack early on, trying to give a town-impression.

Alright, proper post. I am busy with school, so I'll try to at least make one analysing post every day during my dinner time. Zachrulez, cheers for the link.

As I am still learning, I will not going to go for random votes at this particular stage. As the ones of you who have paid attention to my last game would know, that game ran unbelievably quickly due to our keenness to lynch, as a result the town didn't fare very well. Right now the votes are spread enough for me to not worry about a premature lynch yet, but still doesn't hurt to play safe.

Kalofer, thanks for the analysis but may I please ask you to also include the person's name as you quote? Just easier for rest of us to follow. 8)

DavidParker, we were in the same game for the last game, and that was the one that we got all triggyhappy with lynching. So I am not surprised that he is weary with quick voting. Then again, we are not in danger of immediate lynch without sufficient discussion yet, so I'm not too concerned beside not going to vote yet.

So talk away, folks. As much I think we should lynch on the first day, I also really think we should use our entire 3 weeks to discuss before coming to the conclusion as to who to lynch.

Not much pressure considering it as an RVS vote.

And DavidParker seems to be a little worried by my vote or wants an early place to latch a vote onto, since he's the only one who's said anything about the dice and decided to immedietely vote back at me.

Unvote: NashiNashi

Reason: His/her (sorry! :/) response was satisfactory. I'd still like to know what you think of the 2ish separate theories going on.

In response to FakeGod's vote, I believe I was not looking for a simple target. If anything I was hoping to 'out' a lurker, and now that I know Nashi was just busy I no longer need to have a vote on him/her (sorry again! tell us please :)). I'm also definitely not lurking.

Next, the tvellalot/Zombeh-Pug. There's only been a few exchanges in this, but personally I don't think you're always obligated to respond to a RVS on you immediately. It really depends on your playstyle, although I would definitely respond to an actual reasoned vote, and expect more of people's defense in that scenario.
DavidParker is acting strange, but I don't have any normal behavior of his to base it off of.

Also Zombeh, I didn't even realise your random vote was on me, I stopped reading when you said your vote was 100% random (translation, 100% useless)
