I don't know why you think that everyone keeps pretending to be town after they're lynched. A lot of people will not say that they're scum, but few actually go outright to lie and say that they are town. I don't, because it's not beneficial to my faction. When you're scum, the more you lie the easier it is for the town to tell who knows you are lying and who does not. It is more logical to just stop posting in twilight as lynchedscum.
Then again, I don't think you honestly believe that everyone keeps up their charade in twilight.

1. Why do you think nobody special is town?


2. There's a very good reason why he'd lie in twilight, one of the major mechanics of the game is voting for the most pro-town, which occurs in twilight. This results in a ranking system of the two and the person with the highest overall average gets lynched. So, it's still possible for NS to not get lynched.
