Also thinking about Espeon's Patronus claim. If it's a true claim, he's not a Death Eater either. Could be a lyncher with Sudo as a target, but I'd expect him to have been removed from the game if that were the case. Chances are Espeon saw a dementor claim and thought of the idea to fakeclaim patronus.

Yeah... this makes sense, I guess. And I find it pretty unlikely that someone's role would just be a character's patronus. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. Probably because I thought Sudo was scum.

Anyway, if anyone else has the role of a character's patronus, please speak up now.


For now though, my vote's still on dram. I reeeeeaaalllyyyy don't like dram's 'oh look a doctor hit the right target!' slip. I want to hear more players' opinions about that, cause that's super sketchy. And look at his explanation for it:

b) assumed the kill wasn't a Death Eater kill, according to flavor (which a townie probably wouldn't know, since there ARE curses like Sectumsempra)
c) made the jump straight to doc, without even any conjecture on whether there was a third-party or not (SK or otherwise)

So from that, *I* extrapolate that you are either a Death Eater who knew that his kill didn't go through last night and assumed the doc protected your target, or you ARE the doc, and assume that since there was only one death last night (and you protected someone and they didn't die) you assumed that you successfully protected them, but that if you WERE a doc, that would also assume that you knew the flavor wasn't a Death Eater kill, which a townie would seriously have no way of knowing. And it would be easily explainable if you were scum because... hey, we didn't target that guy!

And the doc one doesn't make sense with my not dying last night, because I didn't get anything that made me think that I'd been protected by a doc, I got something that made me think it was my own fault I was still alive. Which will also be the case tomorrow night, because since I am 'weakened' or w/e I'm def. protecting myself tonight.

a) Because mafias don't kill now? Never heard that BS
b) Sectumsempra is a clean slash, nothing to do with the kill's flavour. There is NO spell in the whole HP cannon that fits afaik =_=
c) Kmd summed up pretty well the logical sources for the kill. It COULD have been a roleblocker too blocking the kill. Do you feel happy now?

I pretty much agree with Reaper here. I was willing to pass off dram's doc discussion, assuming that he'd seen Reaper's claim of soaking a kill. But the fact that he claims that he didn't see it before commenting does make it seem like a slip. Unless I'm mistaken, werewolves did work with Death Eaters more than once in the books, so assuming that the ooba kill is a different faction with no other info to back that up is a leap. Sera didn't do anything to make me think he was town before being replaced, so VOTE: dram.

I agree with KMD: ooba was clearly some scum faction kill. Fenrir as SK makes sense.

I'm going to continue to catch up. ooba read will definitely be happening. Some sort of spidey sense makes me want to read up on FG.
