Wat.
I already pointed out that your reasoning for the vote on nik was based on a false assumption (RF was not on V/LA), apparently your reason for voting me was something along the lines of pressuring nik for NOT pressuring your vote. So me putting pressure on a vote based on incorrect information became a scumtell apparently.

As far as I can tell, you made a false assumption, at this point have been called on it, and are calling me scum for now pointing it out.

Yes, I am! :)

Nothing dramatically scummy has struck me, however, I may have a few early town reads, nothing strong.

Ongoing. Though LRC and LRC v 2 gave me some impressions, though I was merely backup modding for Kairyuu, so that wouldn't count as playing with him per se.

I never saw anything about RF being V/LA, we saw the mod post something saying SK was but that was it.

Dammit, Llama. I actually have to go back and work on this now.

SPS voted SK, not Ray. SP was saying that Nikanor's support of SPS' SK vote was suspicious, but Nikanor argues that he was referring to something completely different. Now that I've read Nikanor's post again in a new context, I see what he was getting at.

Unvote

I'd like to hold onto my vote a little longer if y'all don't mind. I have a couple places I'm possibly interested in putting it, but nothing concrete. I appreciate Llama taking the time to make me confront my vote (as opposed to SK/Spyrex who'd sooner assume it was icky).

From what I have...

SPS voted SK (on V/LA)
SP votes RF (not on V/LA, but haddnt posted)
Nik commented on this fact while voting SP for the RF vote
SP votes Nik (revealed later for 'pressuring his RF (V/LA) vote while being fine with the SK (V/LA) vote)
Nik calls SP town for this
I ask why Nik didnt pressure the vote from SP
SP says im scum for asking this

Depends on who "he" is. Llama isn't being over-aggressive. SP is being overly confrontational in my eyes. That's not exactly the word I want to use but it's like he's posturing and throwing suspicion on anybody that casts any doubt or suspicion on him {SP}.

Nikanor seems more passive as the "recipient" of some buddying by SP, but then not saying much. I can't really hold this against him specifically, though, since there's quite a few people that have flown under my radar thusfar (magnus being an obvious recent example).

I'd say SP is being intentionally unhelpful and mysterious, but not really misleading.
I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

RF is a flaky flake.

Its not that he isn't V/LA. Its that he likely isn't in the game at all.
And I have done the same votes against him before.
And he did end up getting replaced.

And Nik was in that game.
So that might be what Nik is trying to get at.
Especially since the replacement caused Nik to lose.

And for MO: I'm not going to respond to your silliness, when you call me out on my conclusions...and yet Nik doesn't.
Obviously they aren't completely invalid, or Nik would have been the first in line to clarify.

I generally find mod meta to be more reliable than playing meta. You've watched them the entire game, knowing their alignment, and how they interacted with others, as opposed to a player who only gets half the story until they flip.

Yes, I meant SP.

Hmmm. I'm not trying to box you in by pitting you against SP or Nikanor; I'm trying to figure out your mindset and what it is that rubs you the wrong way about SP. I mean, is there really an effective difference between someone being intentionally unhelpful and someone being misleading? Assuming SP is playing to his win condition of course, which I think goes without saying.

And while on the topic of semantics...
SK 116 wrote:@ RedCoyote: Ahem. I said I disliked SP's reasoning, and I liked even less how you piggybacked on that bad reasoning with your vote. That's a fair bit more than "assuming it was icky".
Are you implying that I am belittling your suspicions? I'm not intending to do so, to devalue them with a lesser adjective so to speak (if this isn't what your implying, then please clarify). You may substitute icky for the word "bad", "malicious", or whatever else. My point was that, rather than attempt to press me on my opinion, you assumed that I was scummy for agreeing with SP. Isn't that right?

So you compared flaky to V/LA? You also already said that it wasnt an in-joke between you and Nik, which at this point it apparently was.

My experience with RF is I think two games without him needing replacement, and me replacing him once by his request at that time he got pretty sick and had to replace out of all his games.

This line of thought is dumb and misleading. In-joke? Quit trying to lace posts with devenomizing words.

Stop trying to fight Nik's non-existent battles, you aren't doing a very good job of it.
All it is doing is making you look worse.
And doesn't change my opinion of Nik.

First: you never actually addressed the reason for my vote, opting to downgrade it as "assuming your vote is icky," which makes it sound like my vote had little thought to it.

Second: you then imply that "agreeing with SP" is a suboptimal reason for voting you. Considering that piggybacking on SP's reasoning, which I disagreed with to begin with, was your only reason for voting Nikanor, why shouldn't I be wary of scum trying to attach themselves to an easy case?

Third: since you say I'm voting you for "agreeing with SP", why not defend your position?
