From the wording of the Role PM it seems like it doesn't (ROLE REVERSAL isn't ROLE

Also, if I had targeted someone, they would be the new "it", and therefore counterclaim/explain that I must have targeted them N1 and (therefore) be lying about my action, so if no one claims to be "it" currently, then I can't be lying about that part, can I?

Like I said, though, I've never played in a game with millers. I didn't know I was expected to claim D1, especially when it said being a miller might help me in my role PM.

Well, look at it this way, will you? You explained that you're a miller and your Role PM says this:

Why does that make sense? If it's true, what my role PM says is not any less more unreasonable. My role PM says that although I'm avoided because I'm "it", I still win with the town.

After some thought, I am inclined to believe that both Deer and Pom are telling the truth about their roles and are both town.

But when I tag someone, everything directed at me is redirected to the person I tagged, aka the new "it"

I don't want to play guess-the-setup too much, but I think this sounds imbal as a scum role.

Deer could just be lying about miller status in order to gain safety from cop investigations, but the addition of this part of his claim makes me think it's legit. He claims to not have experience with the miller role, and if he is telling the truth about that then I doubt he would have the foresight as scum to not only fakeclaim miller in the event of a cop investigation, but also toss in something completely unique and unusual like that. Deer just doesn't seem the type to be

that

conniving.

So, it's on to new suspects for me.

I'd particularly like to hear more from DP. I agree wholeheartedly with Locke and his sentiment that DP could still be doing way more despite his PR.

To all those making setup assumptions, The Locke says this: if Pomegranate's role swaps roles but not alignments, then every role in the game must be possible for every alignment to have. The Locke says that the implications for this are somewhat strange: consider if Pome had tagged CC - does Pome then have a different win condition, that of the bounty hunter and if so, shouldn't that qualify as an alignment change? If Pome had tagged Zang, would she have become a vig or SK? If she became a vig, would town have gained an extra player in Zang or would Zang have become an SK without any killing powers, or would Pome's power not have worked at all?

These questions need some answering or Pome's heading for a smackdown from the jabroni-beating, pie-eating, scum-hunting, mafia-lynching People's Champ, The Locke!
