Zazier, you should come on over to the Shattered wagon today. We need blood in a bad way at the moment and it's a good way to go for now.

Zazie: alright, coming up.

I think we'll need a claim from Shattered Viewpoint.

ZazieR wrote:@RFreak, how come no reaction to Sucrose's case against you? Because when I see her case, it seems she's wrong. I'm surprised you didn't point this out.
Also, your points for Jack set off my gut by a lot.
sucrose... well i know shes wrong and if i try to defend myself too much and attack her for saying what she said then its going to look OMGUS. i was also curious if anyone would jump with her to lynch me.

things ive learned since i started playing is that 1. im awesome in end games, 2. i get killed early, 3. its really easy to lynch me because i say stupid stuff.

so with those conclusions all i know that if i get into a shouting match with sucrose about lynching scummy players whether or not they should be lynched regardless of alignment is not helpful to the town. because i wont convince her and the more i talk the stupider i sound even though im right. if she is scum then she will get what she was trying to achieve, an easy lynch.

but i will state my opinion once again.
we should not allow players to stay in the game when they are stirring things up. especially when the stirring isnt catching scum.

last note on sucrose, i think she is scum though and though. but as we have seen people have given her a pass, probably because of the little pink thing under her avatar. im just taking notes and observing it for future reference for when i have more evidence to lynch her.
ZazieR wrote:Secondly, RFreak. What made you vote Jack between posts 373 and 402, which were both made by you? Also, it's noted how you didn't respond to his explanation of the difference between his RVS vote and xRECKx 'spam during the RVS'. Want to explain why?
im trying to defend jack, i thought he was acting, or atleast trying to play with the towns interest in mind.
he then votes a lurker. which is not helpful. we have multiple scum candidates among us and we should pursue those instead of dragging up the 15 lurkers/semilurkers
he then argues with me in two posts about how his actions were ok since it was in the RVS stage. i really think RVS is bullshit and should never be used as an excuse or even mentioned in a game. thats why i didnt get into an argument with him on why his allowed and how RECKs isnt. ive been in those discussions before and i know the outcome, everyone takes the side of the precious RVS and im let out in the cold and get lynched, its happened multiple times, multiple alignments. i personally think neither of them should be allowed.

since you are trying to get it out of me then here it is, im not arguing with any one, RVS is over we have enough to go on than to talk about game theory on how mafia should start:

<RVS rant>
the inherent problem of RVS stage is that scum always have ulterior motives and we make a stage that promotes this.
then we play games and newish members get caught up in it and day one vote is usually someone that gets caught in this limbo of RVS and voting stage. and gets crucified for not understanding that RVS is over. when is RVS over? it doesnt say in the wiki. thats because its over when someone feels like its over.
then there is the last person who votes, are they supposed to random vote too? if every vote is truly random then there should be nothing to go off of after RVS. because if a wagon happens the person should just shrug it off and say, "im not scum" and thats it because there is no reasoning for the wagon.
so why have a RVS if in its purist form would achieve nothing?
thats why you should always have a reason for any vote. because each vote is one more to lynching someone. do jurys on murder cases random vote when they enter the trial?
one might ask, how should we start games? well a lengthy discussion on the mechanics so everyone are on the same page on the rules of the game. from that we would have a good feel for the players and might know who might be hiding, who is lurking, and of course there will always be some random voters that will throw votes out. we then wagon someone, get a claim. maybe wagon another and get a claim and then lynch. success.
/end rant

so i said jack is fairly town because he is voting for players that are not helping the town. if you arnt helping the town then you are helping the scum. i gave him a pass on his action in RVS because everyone participates and i cant vote everyone in RVS.
but he keeps arguing with me about it. i just mentioned that he did it and i dont appreciate it but everything else has been ok.
but he wouldnt get it into his head that self voting isnt not helping the town, it applies a vote on someone that you know is innocent. again that is not in the towns interest.
but jack kept blaming it on RVS. really are you biting the hand that was helping you? take my criticism on dont self vote EVER and move on.
i understand the purpose of RVS, but it shouldnt be an excuse. again if we blame it on RVS then we dont get anywhere.
i voted for my scum partner, its ok it was in RVS
i spamed the boards, its ok it was RVS
i drunk posted and accidentally revealed my partners, its ok it was in RVS
i left all my reasoning at the door and voted using a die, its ok it was in RVS

this whole time he was really cracking under the pressure of the votes, which seamed like scum scrambling. decided that me voting for him and progressing his bandwagon might be helpful to get a claim.

then we got a load of people dropping out scared of how the wagon progressed, which is very interesting. since jack didnt change his stance at all.

why am i back on RECK, hes playing horrible not in the towns interest and none of his post have been helpful. not to mentioned Jack's wagon died when scum alpha ran away to save their partner. so scum beta or serial killer, or jester is fine lynch to be on.

When I first read The Goat's 206, I noted I didn't like the apologetic tone. I also thought The Goat was being intentionally obtuse, because he blew Kise's 39 way out of proportion. The extrapolation that The Goat made just didn't make sense to me; I thought it was craplogic.

Then Kise posts 220 and misses the mark when interpreting The Goat's comments. Reading back through this, Reck's vote of The Goat is kind of scummy. He follows Kise with little comment of his own. To this point, would Kise's 220 not classify as a wall of text? I need some opinions.

I revote The Goat because Kise is jumping up and down calling for blood, and I wanted a reason to vote him again, after his responses. However, after my reread, I'm completely siding with The Goat on the matter (responses to me aside). Kise reads as tunneled and stubborn, and does not seem as scummy as Reck in all this exchange (see also Reck's 325).

My new list of BGs: Reck, Nightson, Merkabah, Deer

I'm still sorting through this Shattered Viewpoint runup.

why?

because i wasnt asked about it.
who has the most votes? is it you or dramonic? because i keep seeing votes on you two but everytime i saw a vote i questioned it since i didnt see any reason to any of the votes.

and like inhim said just a few posts ago, there is alot of crazy town and scum.
thus its hard to decipher between the two.why?

on shattered's play
its sporadic and a little random. i like it. if you want RVS then why go after your savior that makes his whole play random. he gets reactions which is helpful. it would be nice to have some content everyonce in a while.

Long post is long.

tl;dr:

1) I'm looking at people's metas.
2) Dram is being lazy.
3) xRx is playing, albeit weirdly.

Now, to the post!
ZazieR wrote:
Shattered Viewpoint wrote:I'm just not buying the 'wall-o-text' argument from either of you.

I need to look into a few things first.
Elaborate on the bolded.
I'm looking a bit into meta. I wasn't going to explicitly say that; "Meta BAD blahblahblah etc." but there you go.

ZazieR wrote:@Shattered
What's the difference between your posts and those of Dramonic according to you?
What's the difference between xRECKx's posts and those of Dram according to you?
Me vs. Dramonic: I ask questions. I respond to things. EVEN THOUGH I got caught up in Jester Madness, I was also, concurrently, looking at other players and their actions and asking appropriate questions. Dram has done little but fluff.

Here's a summary of Dram:

iso 0: rvs
iso 1: gay fluff
iso 2: vc request
iso 3: bs response to RECK bs post
iso 4: aspersion cast, vote with no reason
iso 5: contradictory defense of Chrono; parroting
iso 6: claim bs fluff
iso 7: butthurt about being left out of Zs analysis; statement of intent to "get up to date"
iso 8: more absence apology; reads with no analysis
iso 9: clarification of prior bs
iso 10: more flinging about of reads with (still!!) no grounds; class notes
iso 11: complaint that Merk is not playing according to dram's projections
iso 12: drive-by response
iso 13: unvote; still no explanation
iso 14: quick question to SpyreX; STILL MORE unsupported random reads interrupted by non-game class notes {Note to dram: we don't care which of your classes you find boring.}
iso 15: fluff-quote, "brb"
iso 16: "QFT" of Chrono's idiotic mention of ongoing games; vote
iso 17: FTFY > xRx; waffly defense of Jack; SpyreX meta (now with added FoS!)
iso 18: guess for inHim's abbreviation.

To recount:

19 posts total
5 nongame related (isos 1, 7, 11, 15, 18)
6 game fluff
8 effort (wasted) to look as though participation is there
0 game content

Dram vs. xRx:

xRx is actually trying to play the game, even though he's going about it in a mindfuck way; his signal-to-noise ratio is incomparable to Dram's. Dram is just coasting through, xRx is playing (not that I care for xRx's style, but he's
making an honest effort.

Do you see the difference?
Better than you. Don't doubt me; it won't end well.

@Fate
Thoughts on the following players please:
Lowell, Deer, easjo682, The Goat, rajrhcpfreak, xRECKONERx, crypto
You see, you're not asking me in the kind of "I want to bounce thoughts off you yayaytownread" kind of way, you seem like you're trying to get connections out of me? Throw a FoS down and then we'll talk. I need to know if you suspect me so I can NK you tonight.

Anyway, I could care less aout all of them except Goat->slight town, Crypto->town, xRECKx->neutral.

I'll read the past two pages more in depth and get ack to you on rajr

I think by the time I actually liked it, it seemed less likely to actually happen and I'm really not interested in a 30 page day one.

Right now, my needs to die list looks like:

Shattered Viewpoint
Jack
rajrksdjjlsjdjfd
Deer
Chrono

Lurkers who also could stand to take a long walk off a short pier:
Kise
dramonic
Lowell
Nightson
Dry-fit
My Milked Eek
The Goat
lukepukeduke

Kind of sad the latter list is bigger than the first. Probably a decent number of scum in the combined lists, if not all of them.
