Alright, that's six of us. That's plenty. We'll go popcorn style (each person who claims chooses the next person). Remember that scum lose an advantage if they have to claim before town, so try to pick the remaining person you think is most likely to be scum.

Not that I have a problem with going first - I just wanted to suggest an alternate method we tried out in Weeds mafia

Everyone lists out their order of suspicions i.e the order in which you want to claim first from 1 to 7. You assign points to each position so 1 would be 7, 2 would be 6. You total up the points for all 7 lists and then the people claim in order of their totals.

I personally think it is superior to the popcorn analysis as it gives more info for analysis ..

So in summary our claims are –

Ooba – VT

So throwing aside the fact that there are at least two fake claims the claims as made would give us the following town make-up as far as power-roles are concerned.

Cop – Roleblocker – Vigilante (with up to two kills per night)

The claims in my mind only clear Cruelty. In a game with a Miller it is a certainty there is a Cop role on the innocent side. I also believe that this means there is an investigation immune Mafia role.

In 382 you asked CMAR about this when he agreed with my assertion that there were probably other Miller / Weak Vigs in the game. Why did you not question me along the same lines?

Thinking about the flavor of the game, I thought of a mob killing a monster. So there might be a group of weak vigs?

Except for, of course, the fact he didn't hit it dead on or even a little bit AND said it was speculation.

That looked like a bit of fishing to see if someone would go "ohh yea thats totally how it works".

If CMAR had a.) actually got it right or b.) instead of playing slappywags at that point just laid out what was actually going on instead of dancing well.

Note that the tune changed when he explained what was ACTUALLY happening.

Although, you do you raise something very important:

Actually I think it clears me also. Think, my role contained the basic outline of both yours and SpyreXs role and the somewhat same flavor (the angry mob). I don't think anybody could actually make that up with nothing to base it on and be so close to both of yours.

No, it doesn't clear you, because as it has been pointed out, fake claims being provided for scum in a game with mod quoting is almost assured.

one of magna/spyrex = scum, clearly there wouldn't be 4 weak vigis; 3 makes more sense in my mind.

the reason i investigated spyrex last night was a vague gut uneasiness, which is still there. i'm not sure why, but it is what it is.

clearly voting him would be a mistake today given the innocent result, so i think that i would prefer to ferret out darox/ooba/skeward (i think that zang is inno).


i'm not going to get into it right now, i have to quickly check other games then go into work, but i'll have a proper look at it tomorrow. this is more of a heads up about what i'm thinking.
