I don't believe it's the math that Cobalt is link-giggling at. In fact, it's a pretty interesting potential f-slip, if it is one. I don't believe I've seen that type before, and wouldn't have were it not pointed out.

-_- When I said 'one third of the town' I meant one third of the people alive in this game. As far as I know, the mafia members are ususally citizens of the town as well, that's why we can't point them out instantly. This is backed up by the math. Four is indeed one third of twelve, and as far as I know it's not one third of any other number.

So, as far as I can tell the only reason you would be voting me is that particular statement right there.

This also strikes me as odd:

a pretty interesting potential f-slip, if it is one. I don't believe I've seen that type before, and wouldn't have were it not pointed out.
This could easily read as 'That's total bs, I'll wagon with you anyway, but try to keep my exit from the wagon as clear as possible just in case it doesn't go through'

holy crap, now I'm doing what I accused NC of. Oh well, I'm perfectly fine with accepting that that is a definite negative spin on the interpretation, but it's a valid one as far as I can tell.

Anyway, I'm interesting in seeing what UK thinks about this in particular.
The game. Guess what? You just lost it.

I think you might be thinking what I'm thinking, but you'll probably explain it in a way that makes sense.

I was thinking that the "he said "of the town"" point is terrible and weak, but that it was being talked about like it was huge. So when when Pitt votes based on it without caring to think about it and "doesn't even know if it is [a slip]" it is clearly a bandwagon vote. He'd probably been watching it building and looking for a chance to get on board.

Refusal, CJ. Especially towards you, who jumped from largewagon A to newlargewagon B.

Sure it is, Judas.

I state thusly: it is a waste of time to go after me. I am neutral. I am not pro-town. I am not anti-town. Successfully outing me out of the game consumes more time and resources than you should be wasting. Whether this means that I have lynch-triggered abilities and what said abilities might be are up to you to decide, but I have nothing that I can say directly helps the town. My biggest detriment to the town would be the time you waste stringing me up.

pitt, if I asked you nicely to claim would you?

please claim?

I've got ten bucks on you being a survivor type role.

@Jack: That was part of it. I was pretty much ignoring it because I've done something similar to this before and gotten the same reaction, both from mafia and town. I still think that it's suspicious, but according to my experience both town and scum people do it.

I'm more concerned about the way pitt jumped on the wagon. He did it in such an ambiguous way. It's like he purposefully wanted to set himself up no matter how it went. If the wagon succeeds, then he can play it off as him not seeing something and then realizing how completely incriminating it is after being shown. If it fails, he can play off his involvement as totally minimal.

cj, quit being a twit. I'm already hating on SP for posting short, barely relevant posts, and someone else (maybe UK, but I'm not sure...) was complaining about the 'chaff' in this game. At least you put up a vote, but that was only to join on a wagon without any reason. This is going to stop D2, right? I'd appreciate it if you at least answered that question.

Hm. I'll answer with 'possibly'. To be honest, me dying via town is the easiest way for me to hurt town, but you won't know why until you do so.

I'm debating with myself on whether a partial claim would work, but I can't figure out what I can reveal without...wait. Duh.

Put it this way; you'll need to lynch me twice if you want me out. Yes, that means two days of force-lynching me. This corresponds to two nights for scum to whittle down numbers in response to my death(s). This will result in (presumably), 2 town and 1 neutral offed, and whatever investigative/roleblocking shenanigans in between, assuming one death per night as a safe minimum. So now I ask if you consider this a fair trade, or if you'll let me live and play my own subsection of the game. Or you could just wait for scum to off me in the case that they think my vote is too useful to the town agenda.

It's fun, isn't it? They consider my existence more of a threat compared to the fact that I can at least help push votes.

Learn to not waste townies just because of a neutral existing. Presumably, I'm not the only one.

Also, I count six on me, is Cobalt saying he doublevotes?
