Incidentally, I think that's extremely unfair to have different-sized scumgroups without giving the smaller one some indication that the other one is larger. This is another excellent example of why I tend to stay away from Max's games. Alpha/Omega got completely screwed by the setup here

Alpha was screwed over by Omega, not by the set-up. And I believe Alpha said earlier that he believed that it was a 3/2/1 balance. Ask manho though, he'll be able to clear it up. (EDIT: Fastposted)

Iota's ability I felt was countered by him being lovers with his victim. None of the standard scum used there abilities though.

I don't think the set-up was inherently bad in any way, it was the unfortunate modkilling which skewed the game.

about the set-up, i think my team would be too powerful if not the mod-kill.

Hey I was Kappa V2. I didn't really know that I would die with Iota. There was some flavor I got in the PMs from Max but when I asked if anything had changed about my role, I got a non-answer.

W/e, we lynched scum but lost in the end. If we lynched Upsilon we might have had a chance, but Iota was so obvscum for the lie about sleep abilities.

If I had known about the "Lovers" thing in my (Iota) role, I certianly would have used it on alpha instead of kappa, who I was pretty confident was town. I figured I would die the next day anyway. I'm just glad I didn't use it earlier just for funsies.

Yeah problem was that his claim was that even if it was true, he is highly apt to go along with scum. Think of it this way, he assumes 3 scum alive out of 15, he converts, gets lynched, and then its 3 scum alive out of 13. He gives scum a free lynch (of himself) with no ties, and they get another NK of their pick

You could say I wasn't a fan of the mafia killing me so soon since I was trying to help bring activity to the thread. I guess it picked back up -- I checked back a few days after that point.

Here was ours. Though you can see it didnt' have much action, and none since mid-february. Upsilon was MIA for awhile, and I wasn't really paying any attention until day three or so.
