Yes, well... look how that turned out yesterday. I'm more than a little irritated that if I get lynched today, a large part of the reason we lose a townie will be that the mod was inconsistent with those fucking pictures.dramonic wrote:

The argument about the images used in role PMs are perhaps the second most ridiculous thing I've ever seen on this site (game-wise). The first would be the quoted url where the image came from.
bv310, you earlier claimed that you picked up a one-shot redirect Boomer bile. Since you're still alive and well today, why don't you tell us what did you do with it?
almightybob, don't you think you've made a redundant post in #1094?
ReaperCharlie, do you often play in large theme games?
Starbuck, why should we believe you when you said the flashlight is a one-shot item?
I'm up for a dramonic lynch today!

Possible, but very unlikely IMO. Why take the risk of losing your scumbuddy so early? It screws you for the rest of the game, particularly if you know there's another scum faction. If you're trying to throw together a deadline mislynch on D1, I highly doubt Tar would go for his scumbuddy when he could have picked from any of the rest.Steam-Powered Shovel wrote:I don't think it's as clear-cut as you make it out to be. I can easily imagine Tar thinking that Amished wasn't going to get lynched anyway due to the deadline. It's a risky play, but it works great as distancing if it succeeds.
Why not?Amished wrote:I do not, under any terms or conditions, support an Izzy lynch today.
Meh, it was more of a neat summary/rewording of my key arguments. And even if it was redundant, so what?Charlie wrote:almightybob, don't you think you've made a redundant post in #1094?

I just re-read the context in which he made that vote: he was the second vote and there was very little momentum. Obviously, looking back, knowing that Amished almost got lynched, you think scum shouldn't vote for scum there, but that's tainted by what actually happened: at the time of his vote, the likelihood of Amished actually getting lynched was pretty small. I doubt Tar expected such a big Amishedwagon to spring up.almightybob wrote:

Because I thought the same thing that she did yesterday; and besides, scum would know that faking a claim of another biker would be extremely dangerous for a single mislynch. It just doesn't make any sense. Besides, Kise and xRx are experienced enough to not allow their game to be broken by massclaiming (and I view this to be an attempt to throw suspicion where there shouldn't be any at all.)I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Amished, you have had suspicion on you from day 1. Now, you are saying you don't support a lynch of someone everyone views as scummy. Time for an iso of you.Looking for experienced designers to help me design, a sequel to my Nintendo Mafia game!SONY MAFIA

You were suspcious if Izzy then, now suddenly you don't want to lynch her? Why is that?Amished in Iso 44 wrote:I just skimmed up to the current thing and I followed pretty much everything Dizzy said until this part
Ok, this rubs be wrong for two reasons: you'd vig somebody that you thought hinted at a power role; and isn't the Soc kill getting mobbed/mauled or something? That doesn't sound like a vig at all. Kill flavor is one of the easiest things to keep from a video game to a MS game. Hopefully I can catch up more.DizzyIzzyB13 wrote:
Socrates is easy. There are a number of Socrates posts that indicate he may have had a power role that he turned out to have, which a scum team could pick up on in order to decide he is a good kill. On the other hand, he was the first person to jump to the Amished wagon that prevented a lynch yesterday, which I assume would have attracted a Vig's attention attention. I know if I had vig powers,I'd have probably killed Socrates last night.

I can. If you have two people you think are scum, use the bile to redirect scum-suspect A's actions towards scum-suspect B.Looking for experienced designers to help me design, a sequel to my Nintendo Mafia game!SONY MAFIA

Quick point:
What makes you think that? Don't you remember we checked to see if anyone counterclaimed bv? If nobody CCed, it means he did get the bile. He might still be scum and destroyed it, but he almost definitely did get it. Don't you agree?DeathNote wrote:Just a gut read but from BV posting, I don't believe he got the bile, and that means if he didn't get it, he is probably scum.
