I've played with Richard before (in, y'know, a completed game) and his performance in this game is entirely consistent with his crappy play as town.

@Mr. Chaos - I think I'm missing from your list from before. iamausername is as well. What do you think of mipe exactly? It looks like the sentence is unfinished.

Furcolow wrote: that being said, i am not a vanilla townie.
That tells very much. If you are going to say you aren't vanilla townie, why won't you just come out and say what you are? Gives town more information compared to 'I might be anything but I'm not townie!!'
@mipe: Your claim was confusing as well. Do you have more of a problem with him pseudo-claiming or claiming entirely? Let me make it clear, Furcolow claiming now is foolish.

I feel the case on you is rather solid and the recent runaround you tried to give dahill1 doesn't make you look any better either.

Runaround? That's ridiculous; I answered his questions, and transparently at that. Do you feel I held something back?
What exactly were you 'comfortable' with then? The fact he claimed VT and was going to be lynched or otherwise? Do you still carry any opinion of his guilt to today? Personally I like the case against you so far.
I was comfortable with lynching a VT given the perceived time we had to form another wagon. If he is VT (now highly likely) then at least we didn't out a power role and we can move on with more information.

I no longer think it wise to lynch mipe based on what transpired on D1.

I need to review this again, digging a little deeper.

InHim, I think the issue is, if your fairly long 'comfortable with lynching' list was that if you included on it people you didn't particularly 'think' were scum, and it wasn't like it was a particularly short list, then you go and vote in quick succession for two players who weren't even on that list (without any reasoning), then it just looks like you're willing to vote for pretty much anyone.

I really doubted the probability that my vote would count for anything if I went with anyone on my list. I was trying to jumpstart another wagon by voting on one of RGHP/ksun - they both had more than one vote. Once you voted, I shifted to the lurker ksun, which bolstered momentum so we had a chance at a decent wagon to oppose mipe.

If it played out the other way, where I initially vote ksun, then you voted for RGHP, I would have done the same thing (switch wagons).

and for whoever said my soft-claim was anti town: a soft-claim is not necessarily anti-town when you want to draw a hit due to you being a suckier player than those potentially going to get hit.

When i said talking about your role is anti-town, that didn't mean I wanted you to keep talking about your role.

Seriously. Drop the subject for now, please.

So are you saying that ksun and GHP were basically equally scummy in your eyes at that point? Why didn't you just say this in the first place then instead of justifying your votes with stuff like this:
RGHP was both participating and "posting all over the place." I chose to vote him because of the "posting all over the place," but chose to vote ksun over RGHP because RGHP was participating, and ksun was not helpful. And there was The Fonz placing a vote on ksun over RGHP.
In that above post I just quoted you're giving what you're using as your MAIN reason now for voting them as a sort of secondary add-on..

I feel that dahill1 was trying to get you to justify a reason for switching your vote and all there was that comfortability on lynching a claimed townie. Nothing about his scumminess or anything else. Secondly, it begs the question of if it was a deadline vote you were merely comfortable with, why didn't you push for an extension?

If you actually WANT to get hit, then there's no reason not to fullclaim and reveal your night actions, unless I suppose it's the kind of role that works best when scum doesn't know about it- but then, in that scenario i don't see how you'd want to get hit anyway. (Just a warning- I am going to go absolutely APESHIT if you're a mason).

inHim, let me try this again- if your 'comfortable' list includes players you don't even think are scum, that suggests you're uncomfortable lynching anyone else. Your subsequent willingness to vote two players not on that list just seems... odd. Also, why are you willing to explain your suspicions of pretty much everyone apart from the people you are actually voting?

Meh.
unvote
. I'm getting the nasty feeling I'm starting to play like Yos (not specifically in this game, how he plays generally). IE, voting by process of elimination for someone I really don't think sticks out as scummy on their own merits. On reflection, inHim's play is more confusing than scummy to me.

The case against Inhim is overblown and a bit silly. There's te nugget of something maybe FoSworthy there, but that's about it. I'm much happier lynching Anon.
