I'm of the opinion that they don't really achieve much. I mean, scum will more than likely claim vanilla and we're essentially back where we were before, with the possibility of some town PRs being outed to die overnight.

Well the thing is that confirming doesn't really make you or the other person above suspicion. It just means you have a night ability that makes you a threat to the mafia (and potentially the town).

Plus you've got to factor in that, for all we know, you could be making it all up and, if that's the case, then the person responsible for the things you're going to take credit for isn't exactly going to stand up and CC you.

Right now I think we all need to go back and start ISO'ing people, looking at what wagons they were on, who they talked to/didn't talk to, and how much scumhunting they've been doing.

Mass claim or no mass claim, I don't really care either way but we've gotta start doing more than sitting around making smalltalk.

. I've never seen another role be split between two players on odd and even nights so I may as well just come out and say it. Now, let's look at the kills.

A killed goon means vig or sk.

Dr. Cyanide, Mafia Tracker, Killed Night 2.
Startransmission, replacing SaintKerrigan, Doctor, Killed Night 2.

I targeted Startransmission. However, the flavor, please bear with me, clearly indicates that the one who killed ST was Dr. Cyanide. It has him killing ST and then being killed himself.

This means that there were three kills made this night.

That's why I was so curious about night 2.

Farside was obv killed by scum, and JB was under heavy suspicion of being scum himself.

I know Neto said flavor means nothing, but that was because we were trying to interpret kill MO flavor. I think he slipped on N2 because he clearly had Dr. C killing the same guy I did and then being killed himself. Also Crypto and JB were under heavy suspicion before being killed. Vig or SK preparing for a vig claim. Neither of which has claimed.

In the dark of night, a figure in a white coat walked hurriedly through the empty streets of Hell, Michigan. As he was walking, he noticed something odd - something poking out of a window. His eyes widened as he realized what it was. He started running, but the sniper was too quick for him. A single shot to the back of the head felled the poor doctor.

This is ST's death.

Meanwhile, the sniper was packing back up his guns as he heard a knock at the door of the apartment he was using to make his kill. He silently reassembled his gun as the knocks became louder. Then, he shot at the door, putting shot after shot into it. The knocking was no more. He smiled as he took a swig from his hip flask. The usual whiskey tasted a bit funny, though. It had the slightest aftertaste of almond. His head started to spin and his legs became weak. Soon, he fell over to the floor, his muscles spasming as the irony of the fact that he had been poisoned with potassium cyanide struck him. His last words were, "Oh, no, not again." If we knew exactly why the sniper had said that, we would probably know a lot more about this whole mystery.

This is Dr. C, who just killed ST, dying.

I'm currently looking over other roles that could cause this oddness, since it didn't occur any other night. There's a chance that every night has had two kills targeted on a single player and I just happened to notice that one because I was involved, but that's a stretch.

Vig or SK preparing for a vig claim. Neither of which has claimed.

I'm inclined to believe your role-claim for these reasons:

You could be a vanilla Serial Killer responsible for all those kills, but you make a pretty good mafia kill target by claiming. Not in a Serial Killer's best interest.

You could be a mafia goon attempting to claim something that no one can CC (outside someone responsible for those other deaths), but that person(s) is still out there and would know you're not town. Similar to above: not in best self-interest.

Although, I am a little surprised. I figured you shot pman5595 and the mafia shot Lowell last night. Lowell was a failed wagon a couple of times so the mafia shooting him would be explainable but pman is a weird kill as he seemed really lynchable.

Lynchable because he was scummy. I thought about it and couldn't come up with a good way to pick someone who was both scummy and unlikely to be lynched.
