The issue with your argument here
1. You should NEVER need to explain why you posted something - anyone reading it knows why, making up a different story gets you caught.
2. On that note, scum can lie - the "reason" you posted may very well be a fib.

back to the mass claim, i think we should do it day 1. or the scum janitor will use his power night 1, and use the victim's role as his fakeclaim, if possible. that ruins the whole points behind the mass claim.

There's nothing in the janitor role that states the janitor will get to know the person's role either. Thereby negating that reason to push for a mass claim that will wipe out some of our exceptionally useful roles early on.

Plus, if scum do have the vigs, that means 2 kills on night 1, and night 2, and if they have the jailkeeper too, it would mean it could prevent other pro-town roles from working.

I honestly feel a mass claim is better in a few days at the very least, that way the cop can say whether or not someone is actually innocent or not (if there is suspicion in their direction), same goes for the weak doc, watcher, tracker etc.

2. Questioning the usefulness of massclaim - trying to say it's a bad idea

that's a misrep. and questioning such an issue is actually pro-town as it arouse discussion.

3. Wagon vote + misrep of Prana

so can you tell me prana's meaning of that post? i still can't get it and prana didn't seem like telling me. so why am i scummy for asking for that clarification?

4. Ad hom reason to unvote now that he realizes the Prana wagon died before he hopped on it.

that's not an ad hom. and the later part of this quote is just a wild guess. you can add in a scum motivation on almost every post in a mafia game.

i've been so used to those closed game in another forum where all night-killed players' role are known by scum only. i didn't realise that.

scum-vig can only make the kill approved by the town, and jailkeeper can only use the power on scummy player, approved by town also, if we are going to have a massclaim. so scums really don't have those additional power if we have the massclaim day 1.

why are people claiming when mass claim hasn't been revealed on? either we get a majority to agree and do it, or we don't. half way mass claims are utterly retarded, and we porbably should have found out before people started claiming vanilla.

i think fate could be town btw. serial's okay so far too.

But it's not, really, because they can still kill who "we" tell them to as long as they're mainly hitting pro-town, but if we want them to hit scum, there's nothing to say they'll try getting out of it somehow. (I'd give ways I can think up, but then it allows scum to know some ideas for future, and I refuse to have that).

Like I say, stalling a couple of days helps town much more than it doesn't, because then we have information regarding some players before we get to mass claim, so if someone claims a role and that they did "such and such" but the tracker or watcher knows they did something else/nothing at all, we know we have us a liar right there.

Of course scum would lie. They'll try to hide the vig so that they can get more nights of killing with it. They'll try to guess at a role above them and say "vanilla for cop" for instance if they are in fact one of the vigs, so it would take longer for us to find them. Of course that's a gambit hoping the cop is above them, etc.

WHY WOULD THEY DO ANY OF THIS?? Say manho claims vig. Does that make him scum or town? If the scum have a vig, they have no reason not to admit it. In fact, it probably makes them less likely to be lynched....

yeah, but as they take out all the juicy targets they lock themselves into the obv-lynch position. Say Soras is scum. If the second, third, fourth and fifth on the list all wind up NK, that really isnt going to look too good on Sora's resumee.
However, it does build a nice kill list for the scum, especially if no one took doctor again :S

i admit to have only skim through the thread, and want to ask for a short summary on their wagon. but it isn't a scum tell. why are scum more likely to cast a random vote without reading the thread?

an ad hom is to disprove someone's claim by attacking that person himself. i attacked prana for being a stupid townie, but i didn't say his claim is wrong. assuming my interputation, which's in my 4th post, is right, then prana claim that a player picking neighborizer is either stupid townie or clever scum. i think that he's not a clever player, thus not a clever scum, thus a stupid townie by deduction.
