I don't think xofelf was going to claim before the deadline anyway. I have no problem with kmd's decision.

Drippereth, I find that putting forth arguments tends to help getting the lynches you want. You might want to consider that next time.

Vote Count 27: Lynch

xvart - 2 - FeFiFoFum
xofelf -
13
- SensFan, Papa Zito, xvart, SpyreX, Cobalt, Cyberbob, ooba, Steam-Powered Shovel, Elscouta, Elmocrates, J-Scope, Budja, Kmd4390
Cobalt - 1 - Starbuck
Steam-Powered Shovel - 8 - farside22, SocioPath, MehPlusRawr, Drippereth, Jack, Iecerint, Anon, curiouskarmadog
Elscouta - 1 - Nachomamma8

Not Voting (1): xofelf

With 25 players alive it'll take 13 to lynch and 13 to no-Lynch.

There are no players in the
Halls of Mandos
, so right now there are no
Revive
or
Destroy
counts.

For reference, this is the final Votecount for Day 1.

I don't believe this is what was said. Where'd you draw that conclusion from?

if we were lurker lynching fefifofum would be dead ages ago I'd have thought.

In this game and your completed game you checked you weren't heavy on arguments. You said you were a gut player in that game.

You sound most like Parama (scum) from pizzaria, complaining about gut reads on him with nothing else attached.

Is it really that weird that I'm frustrated by the fact that a significant number of people are calling for a lynch without having any way of defending myself? I offered to give examples of town play for them to compare me to, but no one was interested. (And my one completed game on this account is only marginally relevant; games with 7 players are very different from games with 25.)

If I were scum and the town caught me based on gut reads, I could live with that; that's the town's job. Getting lynched as town I find far more frustrating.

Somehow i figured that while i was busy puking my brains out most of yesterday and today that the wagon on me would have become a lynch.
And i AM going to claim, though it won't do me any good either way.
I am vanilla town, Thingol's servant. Which also makes me an elf(irony what?) so in the Hall of Mandos i go. Those of you who have played with me before know how much i hate roles like this and how little surviving Day1 means to me if i can't do anything other than vote anyways.

What has been woven in the tapestries . . .

"Thus Gorlim died a bitter death,
and cursed himself with dying breath,
and Barahir at last was caught
in Morgoth’s snare, for set at naught
by treason was the ancient grace
that guarded long that lonely place,
Tarn Aeluin; now all laid bare
were secret paths and hidden lair.
But Morgoth’s guile for ever failed,
nor wholly o’er his foes prevailed,
and some were ever still that fought,
unmaking that which malice wrought.
Thus men believed that Morgoth made
the fiendish phantom that betrayed
the soul of Gorlim, and so brought
the lingering hope forlorn to naught
that lived amid the lonely wood;
yet Beren had by fortune good
long hunted far afield that day,
and benighted in strange places lay
far from his fellows. In his sleep
he felt a dreadful darkness creep
upon his heart, and thought the trees
were bare and in a mournful breeze;
no leaves they had, but ravens dark
sat thick as leaves on bough and bark,
and croaked, and as they croaked each neb
let fall a gout of blood; a web
unseen entwined him hand and limb,
until worn out, upon the rim
of stagnant pool he lay and shivered.
There saw he that a shadow quivered
far out upon the water wan,
and grew to a faint form thereon
that glided o’er the silent lake,
and coming slowly, softly spake
and sadly said, “Lo! Gorlim here,
traitor betrayed, now stands! Nor fear,
but haste!"

(The Lay of Leithian, lines 241-279)

Elscouta and SPS are the scummiest. But

I'm fine with this - an interesting counterpoint to watch in the future is would scum be ballsy enough to kill someone so they get revived?

Well, of course we should resurrect Farside. I guess we should destroy Xofelf too, we lynched her and want her dead I guess.

I'll support FFFF in the short term until/unless it becomes clear there's nothing there. SX brings up a good point on possible interesting play choices from Elfscum, but I don't think that's the default interpretation at present.
