I really don't see Elscouta scummy but the post above yours does make me go WTF!

Funny you should mention that, that's exactly what both our heads are agreeing upon, although Elli is having xofelf leaning scum more than me (DGB). But I am wavering on xofelf. Sounding sincere, yes, tunneled on out-of-game stuff, yes, but not doing much, bad.

I have also read SensFan in iso.

The tone is one of annoyance at being questioned, like he'd rather lurk unmolested.

Am I the only one who thought by reading Drippereth post #569-571:

"ok, i succeeded in launching a wagon on xofelf. It is running full steam, so with the deadline nearing, she will probably be lynched. Now, I can just hop out of the wagon to get town points. Also, I shouldn't explain why xofelf is town, so that I don't run the risk of the wagon losing steam".

Hm, this game moves fast.
Elmocrates wrote:Which people? Which posts (numbers) do you think are really bad?
Looking at Pages 19-21, that would be you, SensFan, xofelf and farside (though she managed to be somewhat useful while doing so) for the most part. The discussion actually wasn't quite as mindless as it first appeared to be but it's still a pretty big distraction from the game we're playing right now.

There weren't any particularly bad individual posts; it's more the fact that the discussion went for so long and never really got anywhere that made it so annoying.
ooba wrote:239: @CyberbobDoes not follow up with a vote on a player who in his own words "misrepresented, twisted, overreacted to and outright invented some of my words."
At the time I was trying to put pressure on Cobalt to post content; I tend to stick with pressure votes (it kind of defeats the purpose if you show that you're easily persuaded to unvote) unless either a) it becomes obvious that nobody else is on board or b) something particularly voteworthy happens elsewhere. Iecerint was being more of an annoying pest than actually being outright scummy. I think someone said that our argument was basically two townies coming to blows; that's pretty much how it felt to me as well.
Jack wrote:He was being kind of rude.
So your solution to my "rudeness" was to make a post that you knew wasn't going to actually cause anything to happen? Good plan.

Ohh god it begins again.

Elf-gate: Hold a sec. Sens has said she was irrefutably lying and then delivered the game in question?

SPS: This isn't a bad call. However,

Jack: WHY? Lord, why town? WHY?

Ignoring xofelf/SensFan until they do something moderately useful.

Vote: Elscouta

What are you thinking...? You make an opportunist jump on the xofelf wagon, Drippereth gets off, then you attack him/her for leaving...

Have you been reading my posts, like at all? I said all along I had no completed game off-site. I even said in the post where I linked to the game why it's completely useless meta-wise.

I think he's not counting the game in question because it was mod-abandoned (hence, not "completed"). Which, while not quite a lie, is kinda sketchy use of language IMO.

On the other hand, it's also true that he didn't post much in that game, so it's also true that he had reason to believe xofelf couldn't have a meta based on that game.

Correct me if I'm wrong about any of that.

My(Elli's) take on the whole xofelf thing:
I think the whole situation with meta and all that blah stuff I don't really care about with with Sens feels very genuine/honest etc. BUT I also think it's something she could be genuine about regardless of alignment. My main peeve is the fail content-wise on everything else.

Steamshovel wagon is absolutely wonderful.

The game didn't go past Day 3, and the Mod never revealed the roles. How exactly was she supposed to get a meta read on me?

She claimed she pm'd the mod and asked. I've been pretty much ignoring the argument and even I remember that.

That was in her most recent post, well after I claimed there were no completed off-site games. In my next post after that one of hers, I linked to the game.
