Anyone else notice how XScorpion disappears as well as Easjo when Easjo comes under fire, and when the second lover pair claims? Seems very odd to me, but I may be biased since I have been suspicious of Easjo and XScorpion for a while now.

I still don't understand the reasoning behind this plan and until I do I'm going to go with the course of action that makes the most sense to me: voting for a lover pair and hoping to God that it's the scum one, and relying on the doctor to protect the other pair.

we might get lucky and the doc protected the right claimed pair. And if the Doc protected correctly then they could possibly claim who they protected and we would know who is scum and who is town. And if Doc protected wrong he could just state who is the real scum. Though we'd probably already know and the Doc shouldn't claim. I think my way statistaclly checks out.

1) It's not "another shot at scum", because if we lynch a lover pair today, then tomorrow we can scumhunt as normal as opposed to making a policy lynch.
2) Unfortunately, the doc can't claim because then he dies the next night, and then on the night afterward the couple dies anyway.
3) Or maybe the scum will just pull a WIFOM and kill a random townie instead while the doctor keeps protecting a couple, which makes our doctor useless.

Ok, a few questions:

@XScorpion:
-Do you, or do you not find Easjo Scummy
-You are missing a key element right now, we only have one claimed lover, and the lynch on easjo could potentially tell us which lover pair has the treacherous lover in it.

If easjo flips scum, which I think he will based on all his scummy actions and trying to downgrade why we think he is scummy, then it will tell us that Chronopie's lover group contains the treacherous lover. Also if he flips scum, since what I mentioned above would be true, then the doctor would protect me at night protecting our lover group and provide us with a confirmed and a half townies (already explained this before).

If easjo does not flip scum then we are basically where we were before (and the scum would NOT kill the town lover group at night because it would be much better for the scum to leave both lovers alive and try to find the doc. So I still dont understand why you are so dead set that the scum will try to kill the lovers at night if we dont lynch them today. And now you are trying to subtly suggest that when the scum does not kill the townie lovers it is "WIFOM" on their part. Idk what you are trying to accomplish with that statement, but I dont like where that arguement is going.

@ Robocopter and Chronopie- You are being suspicious just because of your flipfloppiness. I do not think you are scum just because of that, but take a stand for what you think the best way to go about doing this is and stick with it. Stop being swayed at the drop of a hat, sheesh.

Your assertion that "if he is scum then Chronopie's lover group contains the treacherous" is speculation, not factual. If he is indeed scum, Easjo could just as easily be pulling a WIFOM on you.
Unless YOU are scum, you don't know for a fact whether or not the scum will kill a couple tonight. I still don't understand why it is "better for the scum to leave both lovers alive" when they can easily just score a 2-for-1 on the townie couple.

No. If you would read people's posts correctly and restate them accurately it would be very clear. Instead, you've chosen to pass over what you didn't like.

I'm not quite sure I understand why some players are so adamant about not lynching a lovers pair today. Their reasoning, to me at least, is flimsy. If we have a 50% chance of hitting scum, even though it wasn't my ideal situation, I suppose I'd have to take that.

Also I don't like Yankee's assertion that "easjo scum=Chronopie lovers are scum." First of all easjo is voting Chrono. And since (assuming neither claimed lover is treacherous), scum don't know which town lover is paired with their treacherous buddy, easjo has a 50% chance of voting his "scumbuddy" pair. As in, I don't see him voting a claimed lover pair but rather going after "scum reads" (which D1 usually end in mislynch).

I also don't like how quickly the wagon built on easjo. Right after Chronopie self-voted. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the treacehrous buddy was among the easjo voters right now, and one goon jumped on with him.

Actually I was in the middle of posting something about your last post Nikanor about how I didnt understand how claiming lovers today and not lynching them made any sense, but then i thought about it for a minute, and that is like a safety net almost. The town lovers probably wouldnt be NK'ed because that would give away the treacherous lover pair, and even if they were, then we can choose to kill the other lover pair the next day, or just keep scum hunting knowing that the treacherous lover is in that lover group (i would vote to lynch personally). The only drawback I see to this is it may complicate things later on in the game when we get close to lylo, it could pose major problems if we dont lynch a lover pair on day one. But a benefit is that the doctor wouldnt be tied down on protecting a lover on Night 1 which is always a plus.

Also it'd be nice if you read the whole topic instead of barging in with no clue about what we're doing.

@Riley: Are you by any chance SensFan?
