Actually I think you may have missed a fundamental point of my post. It's deeper than just "LOLOLOL he's wagoning", though that's a useful strawman.

It's more like this: every wagon in this game thus far has been propelled by roughly the same group of people. There is a group of people who pretty much don't care who gets lynched today. They're called the scum.

You wanna know something else? None of those guys are on your wagon. Not one. They picked, en masse, the ksun wagon instead. Why did they pick the ksun wagon instead? I'm not entirely sure, but I intend to find out. That involves lynching you.

What's more, you're not simply wagoning. If we look at your iso on the mipe and dahill wagons you have implied that that is the best wagon for today. In other words, if I take your posts at face value, every single time someone has been the most popular lynch choice, you happen to have simultaneously decided that that guy was the best lynch. Wow, talk about coincidence! Please explain: are you voting for these guys because you think they are scum, or because you think they look like the most popular lynch? Or is there a third option I am ignoring? The first is scummy because it doesn't fit with the pattern of your votes. The second is scummy because it doesn't fit your stated motivations.

You're under serious pressure (second most popular wagon) and refusing to justify your actions. That's not scummy, though. It's just retarded. You should justify your actions. THis is th epoint in time where you start being super open and honest with us all. You wanna know why?

Well, with the deadline approaching, we need to get it to a lynch. Richard seems scummy enough to lynch, though I'm a little uneasy that it's led by my number one scum read, scot and I don't have a great feeling about Yos, though nothing i can articulate at the moment.

In the battle of the unreadable lurkers, ksun gives me worse vibes than mipe. Mipe appears to at least try to play along with the game albeit very cursory. Ksun clearly has no interest in following along with the course of the game. It's kind of a toss-up for me between ksun and Richard, but I'm going with ksun at this point, but I'll be around to switch to Richard if we start to approach the deadline and it looks like that's our best bet for reaching majority.

zoraster: any reason why you think scot's attack on Vas is distancing in particular? And re: post 562, is there any reason why your hypothetical situation described included "scum a" and not just generic "scum"? Do you have any reason to suspect multiple scum groups?

As for the distancing, call it gut read. Seems like the type of attack you make when you know it's never going to get momentum enough to lynch, but you want to seem as if you're attacking.

As for "scum a," I have no reason to believe either way (though for games this large, my experience has been there's about equal chance, if not higher, of multiple scum -- despite the fact I as a mod tend to prefer single scum [or at least single mafia] when I design things).

But in my clarification on my attack, I give an example. Presumably, scum doesn't know if they're solo scum or not. I was actually trying to be more precise. I could have easily said, "let's say you're scum, and you know mipe is not scum, so you know when mipe is lynched he'll be town and you'll get town points by defending him now." But that's not quite true in a game this large (any game, but especially one this large). It actually slightly weakens my argument, but I wanted to be up front with it.

I am. Whilst a ksun lynch isn't optimal, a Richard lynch is less optimal.

There are a lot of weakish cases and no strong ones, mostly due to the various interruptions that have happened during day one that have lead to limited posting by a number of people in the game and the number of replacements. given the amount of time he's been in the game and the posting rate over that period, Yos can't be the optimal lynch - while spring was certainly scummy, Yos is less so and I feel an extra day phase is necessary to determine his alignment.

Right now... eh, I'd probably make mipe the optimal play, tbh. Aside from the possibility of lynching scum, which in his case is about as high as anyone in the game given his behaviour, a mipe lynch would also provide us with the most useful wagon analysis data to work with. I mean, given how the mipe wagon stalled, we could benefit from the context knowing his alignment would give us. Alas, mipe lynch is less likely than a Richard or ksun lynch, and ksun is the better option.

This post, and others of its ilk. He's being ridiculous, suggesting that people will accuse him no matter what he does based on a sample of just two possible actions out of the infinite number he could be taking, but his anger at the fact that people have the audacity to suspect him of any any wrongdoing strikes me as a definite town tell.

If Shea really is gone, then I'm absolutely furious about that. There were a number of things I wanted him to comment on and him in particular to comment on. Now I won't get that opportunity? Grrr.
