The bile acts as a redirect, allowing me to send one player's night actions to a different target. I chose not to use it last night, since I half-expected to get NK'd.

I'd say the fact that two of the people responsible for pushing for your lynch have a) both died and b) both flipped town doesn't exact;ly work in your favour.

I'm gonna go WIFOM-ish here for a second, but I play with Amished in games often. I don't think he would set himself up by killing the two people who suspected him most. Someone could be trying to set up their case. That's one theory.

The other theory is just the exact opposite, but I don't know how that would be a smart move for scum.

Is it your belief that both kills could have been done by Amished? I find that highly doubtful. And suspicious, considering I dont believe anyone would consider a faction with a doublekill.

I think DocPotter is suspicious.

I'm interested in a name claim as I believe it would be more helpful to town than to scum. For the record, Socrates was Keith and he as a jack of all trades fits perfectly into the L4D theme. I mean he survived drowning, traffic accidents and lawnmower blades just to name a few! I'm going to miss him most.

Sad, now Louis shall never get his pills.

I don't believe it was a faction with a doublekill at all. I'm not sure why you would allude that I do.

I just would find it odd if he is scum that he would agree to killing off any person suspecting him knowing the links.

Starbuck, setting up players rarely works.

In my experience, scum generally get away with killing those who attack them. And Glrok and Socrates are both known as good players, so I would totally expect Amished to kill Glrok or Socrates.

Now that I know Glrok is town, I'm quite willing to listen to him.

@Izzy, SPS: *sigh* You both know because somebody is town, they're not always right, right? Glork had a lot of suspects, not just me. Socrates the same.

I've never seen a double-killing faction so therefore if I were scum, I'd have to be able to 1) know who anybody else with a killing role might be and 2) tell *them* to kill of somebody who suspects *me*.

Right, cause anybody with a killing role "protecting" *me* is a good idea and optimal play for *them*.

Besides, I asked those three people in particular for a very specific reason.

Obviously. But the town rarely has the luxury of true certainty anyway. And I'm pretty sure following dead townies more often would improve the likelihood of lynching scum. I know what I'm doing.
Amished wrote:Glork had a lot of suspects, not just me. Socrates the same.
You were very clearly Glrok's main suspect.

I consider you a very plausible candidate for having killed either Glrok or Socrates. I don't believe anyone is implying that you somehow orchestrated them both getting killed.

Because the people that attempted to grab the dual pistols were:

Furry (didn't ask for several reasons)
thatguy
bv310
Starbuck
(and jmj if it went to a fifth which I don't believe it does..)

bv has only been talking about the bile, and not about dual pistols so I could rule him out. Starbuck is set on jmj being scum so if she got the pistols I believe that she would've shot him.

That only leaves thatguy.

It's been a pretty obvious theory/playstyle that if you get a vig, you use it as much as you can as often as you can. Since neither kill looks like a vig; that means that whoever grabbed the pistols destroyed them (which is only possible by scum).

It appears that I was right with my first instinct for sure about him, and these circumstances only help to reinforce my belief that he's scum.

@SPS: after this game I'll never follow dead townies again as every single lynched town from day 3 said that Papa Zito was scum (including me). Guess what, he wasn't. Build your own case instead of being lazy.

Furry (didn't ask for several reasons)
What reasons?

Since the gun grab is a pretty good reason to have a closer look at thatguy I'd like to know why not Furry.

Oh, and whoever asked about me being slightly absentia.

School holidays and 8 kids at home is killing my available time for last week and this week.

I did a little bit of research on this, and im not entirely sure this works. From what I could tell it would only redirect scum to other people. I was actually expecting a lightning rod varient that directs all anti-town actions to a player. Also does it have any flavor?

Lets say you would use it, what would an action submittal look like?

Nothing too much to raise an eyebrow at. In fact, I'd say you're actively scumhunting, so I believe you to be town right now.

And no, I didn't get any notification about the dual pistols.

Amished, did you notice the sheer quantity of weapon-items? I sincerely doubt the set up has that many vigs. So stop fishing for who has the Dual Pistols and its function.
Amished wrote:@SPS: after this game I'll never follow dead townies again as every single lynched town from day 3 said that Papa Zito was scum (including me). Guess what, he wasn't.
One example of a scummy-looking player who wasn't scum? Really? Were you expecting it to get you the right results every single time? You're expecting me to believe you here?

Look, it's really not that complicated. Glrok has a good track record when town. Glrok is town. Ergo, there's a good chance you're scum.
Amished wrote:Build your own case instead of being lazy.
I don't care if my method appears lazy, I'm trying to lynch scum and I think this gives me the best chance.

@SPS: Now you're just delving into fallacy. It's like that article about ABR? being right 7/7 times nailing scum in a row so then people just followed him even when he was wrong.

BTW: what function *other* than shooting do you think pistols have? Seriously.

Besides, if I were scum wouldn't I be worried about it and go after somebody who had a chance to have it? ... I really just wanna run head first into a wall here.
