- How much experience do you have playing mafia? Please include any off site forums which you play to.
One full game off-site, a few games here, and tons of games on Epic Mafia, but chat mafia is very different from forum mafia.
- What would you say is your scum meta is?
This is a dangerous question...I'd say...diplomatic?
- What would you say your town meta is?
Less diplomatic.
- Someone just got quicklynched, and is town. What do you do?
ISO the people who were last on the wagon.
- Same situation, but quicklynched is scum.
Look at who didn't vote first, then move on to who did vote later? These questions are kind of bad, because I would be looking at everyone all the time and it depends heavily on the situation.
- Your #1 scum read got NK'ed last night, and you have no reads on anyone else, and it's LYLO. What do you do?
See above I suppose.
Vote Paramabecause he's Parama, duh.-

This is why I dislike meta and consider meta questions dangerous.Slaxx wrote:I hate the inconsistency between games and players. I'm in another game with an extremely scummy person who everyone says is town because of her META, but no matter how hard I push for her lynch no one bites. I don't get why its okay in that game to let her go but to vote someone in this one. -headesk-

I agree with Slaxx, at least a little. There's not really much that can be analyzed right away when it comes to random votes, but that doesn't mean they can't be useful later. Now, people overreacting to random votes/refusing to answer questions and such is something that can be looked at early.
Yo bro I'm reaching for a reason not to random vote because I want to take the moral high ground now so I can lead later!
This is bogus. I don't think he was "reaching" with that post, it looks like he was trying to start some real discussion and you're just yelling at him for it.
Yo bro I'm overreacting to a random vote but I have nothing better to do so hopefully this won't look like paranoia!
Agreed.
Yo bro I haven't even posted acknowledging my presence in this game, I'm just going to be the lurkerscum of this game!
Lurking isn't a scumtell unless it is a newb (or Nikanor hurhurhur).
Unvote,vote kunkstar7.
-

EBWOP: I really screwed all of that up, haha.

More like, you seem awfully confident in your scum choices so early in the game by making connectionsParama wrote:Starbuck's response looks like: Scum is curious as to why two of their scumbuddies have made my list of likely scum this early in the game!
I think I see a Kunk-Nacho-Starbuck or a Kunk-Stepho-Starbuck team now. More likely the first, though I want to see something from Stepho before I make a decision.because those are the only connections that have been made at all.-

Anyone can write questions before a game begins, and his explanation for the vote isn't pro-town because policy lynches are bad ideas, no matter what the reason! On top of that, calling one's own play scummy is not bad when there is proof to back this up. Or would you rather have him lie in these all-important questions?Stephoscope wrote:I lean town on ani. I liked his questions in the early stage, as well as his explanation of his "random" vote, which made perfect pro-town sense.-

Looks to me like he's reacting to you calling him out for the buddying (which he denies but I think is present).Parama wrote:Slaxx is contradicting himself by attacking me.
Defends me for 7 pages, pulls a huge 180 and sticks me on his scumlist. No reason given for the switch.
However, it does seem like you're way overreacting to this.
setting up lynches is ickySlaxx wrote:Starbuck , we can get his partner today. We'll lynch Parama tomorrow.
and you realize that admitting your scumminess doesn't make you any less scummy, correct?Slaxx wrote:I'm being as controversial as possible to try to spark discussion.
I think there's definitely scum in Slaxx/Parama, at least one of them, probably not both but I wouldn't rule it out.-

They seemed like a little buddy-ish in the middle of the day, but it wasn't too weird at that point. The recent events of Parama calling Slaxx out for buddying and then them both distancing themselves from each other looks really suspicious to me.Nachomamma8 wrote:Navy, what makes you think Slaxxx/Parama scum?
Slaxx; so far I've had a more town read on Parama, and similar to Nico this is different for me but that's what it is.Nachomamma8 wrote:Who more? Why?
It's not that they can't be scum together, but right now I think its more likely that only one of them is scum because it doesn't seem like a scum team would make the distancing that obvious.Nachomamma8 wrote:Why not together?-
