Assuming Eas has more than 4 life, the six bullets will kill me. I don't think playing a Missed on me is a good plan (even if you were willing to do it) as it'll save me but give Eas the opportunity to fire his shots at you, Kast.

The sheriff kicks at easjo. The last of the outlaws was now done.

The sheriff see's and empty town and thinks this feels like a shallow win.


Easjo - outlaw - killed day 10.

So my views on this is that trying to kill the sherriff for the outlaws in the end proved very difficult. But as in Bang it typically is.
Easjo and McGriddle knew each other as outlaw but LordChronos didn't know who the outlaws were.
As for the random shots.
McGriddle and yawetag had the ability to one per day send an action via PM that would be used on another player in the game.
However most of the random shots were me just rolling a die and shooting.

Thank you farside heaps of fun would definitely be happy to play in any other games you modded
I think things could've have the potential to turn out differently if there was some kind of turns system, but that would be pretty impossible to instate and it would literally make it Bang! on the forums as opposed to something between mafia and Bang!

You start with 3 bullets and if the sheriff is shot during the day you will lose 1 bullet and only receive 2 bullets for the next day.

Animorpherv:

You are a deputy -Tequila Joe- Your job is to not screw up. You’re riding in the shadows and if the sheriff dies you become sheriff and gain an additional bullet to kill during the day.

The message can be anything else but nothing that you said in the game currently. The message can only be 15 letters. After a player is killed you can send another message that is 20 letters long. Each twilight phase you can send some sort of message that does not give your identity away.

I have to say I was really impressed with the scum this game. They lasted a long time without dying and if McG hadn't been caught the scum would have won hands down.
Doing the turns would have been near impossible. I thought about letting players only shot once per so many hours but I wanted a game that had lots of blood shed. :lol:

That said my next mini game will be "The Princess Bride". Anyone interested may pre/in. Not sure how long I will have to wait in the queue for my turn to come up. Considering the line and many not ready I give it a month at the most.

Hey all. I apologize for having to replace out. I really didn't want to, but something was said elsewhere that made me think my opinions were compromised so I felt it was best to replace out.

I kept up with the game peripherally, but have to say major kudos to scum team's effort. You basically needed two of you vs. sheriff in the finals in order to win and you almost pulled it off. Second kudos goes to EB and Kast. They played their positions well. I only wish I was in the game the whole time as I would've been much more aggressive and the card thing wouldn't have made my slot get 'lynched'.

Oh well. Thanks again for modding farside22. Your games are enjoyable as always.

I think this is my main frustration. By having secret shots and mod-random-shots, it really hurt the town's ability to scum hunt. I think if the intent of the shots was to make people focus on scumhunting then confirming them as a mod device would be more productive. That said, I admittedly spent WAY too much time on deciphering the mechanics.

The real time mechanic is what won the game for town, IMO - both Kast and I were available frequently, otherwise a scum rush could have taken us down. But I'm not sure what to suggest as a resolution, so it's a fairly minor issue.

I think it all worked out pretty well. If you ran it again, the only change I think is absolutely needed is put a 24 hour time limit on attempts to get out of jail.

Aside from that, I think the balance worked pretty well.

I don't think I would run something like this again. It was more difficult then I expected. All in all I wanted a quick and bloody game and I think that it was acheived.
Also EB you were the one to figure out the cards and certain players like McG who didn't seem to use all his actions on certain days. I think it helped you a bit there.

I think that the number of bullets to life points was too high. When one player, (Kast especially, since he had 5) could wait for the very beginning of the turn and unload shots into a player, it made the game into a sheriff kill player 1, 2, etc. This was exacerbated by the fact that shots after someone was hit didn't count, so the targeted players couldn't retaliate.

I think slowing the shots and cards and things like the jail rolls down to once every 6 hours (Or 12 or whatever) might have helped.
