Charlie, for balance purposes, there's going to be more than 8 townies in an 18 person game.

I'm not going to speculate on potential rolenames on that 5% chance the mods fucked this thing up hardcore, but I will state that I can name at least 15 distinct names across both games. There are at least 2-3 more unnamed characters I could viably see as being in the game, too.

Left 4 Dead canon extends beyond the four playable Survivors in L4D and L4D2.


I'd like to mass nameclaim and see if anybody is completely unable to come up with a character. If everybody checks out just fine, we throw the whole nameclaim out the window. Like I said, if the scums were provided with safeclaims, there's a rather good possibility that at least one of the eight PCs is a safeclame.

Regarding jmj's claim - the flavour matches the character of Jimmy Gibbs Jr.

I wouldn't be opposed to a mass nameclaim, although I'm not entirely sure it will help us.
As people have said, the scum may very well have been given safeclaims, and if they were those safeclaims could just as easily be the main Survivors as they could support characters. I don't think I would trust scumhunting based on the nameclaim, it's just faulty logic.

Totally, jmj still is probably town. As is bv. As is DN. The fact that three of the biggest four wagons look like they are on town is just bad guys.

-Slapdash explaination for whoever was asking is that he got wagoned for not doing anything, witholding suspects, etc etc. Him getting wagoned for that (over bv, pom, dram and thatguy, who all read similar) is what makes him town. The one of the large group that gets picked on for a tell they all commited usually is town.

Not really digging a Amished lynch right now, but are you willing to comprimise to a Izzy or Pom lynch?

Not without some other intervening factor, no. I wouldn't ask for a claim unless I was happy to lynch that person. I only ask for the claim to check that I'm not going to accidentally lynch a Town PR. A VT claim would never sway me, I work under the assumption that everyone will claim VT anyway.

Please point to some aspect of his play that you feel is pro-Town. Because as far as I can see, all he's done is stall all game and then regurgitate arguments made by other people.

So if three people all do something scummy, and one person gets wagoned over the other two, that person is likely Town? What if after that wagon, the second person gets wagoned? Are they likely Town? What if the third person then gets wagoned?
You end up saying all three people who did something scummy are Town.
