Ah, I think I understand you now, I was under the impression that even if they are stumped they will still affect lylo and so we would have to lynch them anyway...but I wonder how that works with the scum person....will they still be able to submit nightkills?

They would only affect end game as warm bodies, so if there were three people left, one town and two treestumps, then I assume that the game would end in a draw because town can't get a majority (only one vote can be placed) and stumped scum can presumably not place a night kill. That is why I believe it to be prudent to go ahead with the UK lynch sooner as opposed to later. Out of bananas and UK, bananas is clearly the more pro-town (as admitted by UK). We also have some level of confirmability with the role cop ability. After we get that result we can then decide what to do with the information.

Also, elmo from that other thread brings up a good point, so I'll clarify: for the purposes of win conditions, a treestumped player is considered eliminated.

The rolecop will NOT give alignment information beyond what you might infer from a player having such a role.

It will be as short as possible to give enough information that you can generally know what it's primary purpose is.

A couple of theoretical examples:
YES:
"You see Zoraster is a Doctor"
NOT
"You see Zoraster is a Doctor who cannot self-protect" (self-protection is more than needed to get a general idea of the role)

BUT
YES:
"You see Zoraster is the Editor. He can edit other people's posts"
NOT
"You see Zoraster is the Editor." (not enough info to be able to get a general idea)
and NOT
"You see Zoraster is the Editor. He can edit other people's posts no more than three times per game day, and he can add or delete no more than 5 words to any post he edits." (more information than needed to get a general idea)
and NOT
"You see Zoraster is the Editor. He can edit other people's posts. He also has a secondary power of being able to hide once in the game." (rolecop does not detect secondary abilities)

That was the whole point of the joke, that TNTNM was so obviously me but trying to pretend like it wasn't, I was just bored and having a bit of fun with the rules. The rules state everyone is allowed two sham accounts btw, though I must admit I didn't realise the 5 posts per day was for both shams, so my bad on that one.

I don't believe that UK would ignore my good reason not to out the details of rolecop yet if she were town. I am increasingly convinced of UK-scum.

I think Espionage, Docpotter or Dedicated scribe might be scum for lurking, they haven't really added anything since rvs even though espionage has claimed. CML is guilty of lurking to but he was pretty active in the begining. I am also suspicous of tnm.

Alright, let's get this game back into gear. We either need to start moving some votes around to the lurkers (i.e. Espeonage) and put some serious pressure or we need to lynch UK.

Espeonage still needs to answer for the obvious delaying of crypto claiming.

Keeping UK around is making me sick because my head is swimming in WIFOM if she is scum and now she can bus the hell out of anyone and they can (and probably are) do the same to her.
