If he is scum, we force him to fakeclaim. We can catch him in the claim or after the claim. The idea is to force him to come up with a decision as early as possible.

If he is town, well I dont plan on giving him more ideas of what to claim and what not. You can complete the equation.

The point is that I dont see him playing to at least have a better gasp of his alignment. He is basically a distraction that needs to be dealt asap. And since I think he is faking his easytargetness then I want this to be solved asap.
When will people finally realize policy lynching is stupid?

What do you propose we do then? Just let him play as he is now?
I propose we look for scum. Not policy lynch someone who everyone is disappointed in. As quag has said, the goal is to find scum.
Well, personally, I do find his actions scummy but that besides the point for this question. Let me rephrase, what do you propose we do with mipe then?
Not lynch him. Tolerate him. There are plenty of players around this site that have an antitown style of play. You need to tolerate them. Policy lynching them is not helpful.

This is less of a case of an antitown style of play and more a case of a guy refusing to play the game. I'd be quite happy with a forced replacement, honestly.

I think he is faking his playstyle.

Read his iso. Until iso8 he seems to be a regular player.

His unvote in iso8 is forced and fake. /oh look im so townie unvoting when my top suspect is at l-4

When people start looking at him, he starts behaving like lately.

That makes me think he is faking it.

This is probably an incorrect interpretation of his posts. Read ISO #9.

I'd prefer it if you actually did your research instead of committing to a lynch based solely on an assumption that has only out of game contact as a basis.
Can you prove me wrong with behavior in other games? Can someone else research his other games for me? I'm too lazy to read another book or three.

Quag: providing metagame information on oneself is extremely questionable, but I'll try to find games that represent my play from multiple aspects.

Mafia 653 (Newbie); alignment: mafia, won. 19 pages. One of my better performances.
Newbie 625; alignment: town (doctor), won. 13 pages. A reasonably good performance.
Mini 639 - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Mafia; alignment: town (vanilla), lost. 29 pages. Good early game performance, mediocre endgame.
Open 98 - Bird C9; alignment: mafia, lost. 5 pages. Shows the lengths I'm willing to go to to spark discussion.
Open 133 - Lovers; alignment: town, won. 12 pages. Good performance.
Open 159 - Lovers; alignment: mafia, won. 16 pages. Good performance.

Feel free to explore further, my wiki contains 50+ games I completed.

Well until mipe does something productive my vote stays with him.

also, everyone should skim over Frogs Mafia or at least read scot's ISO to get an idea of what I'm talking about with him. He is definitely playing more aggressive there which I've noticed he's done as town often. This game just seems like he's not trying to step on any feet and appease everyone.

Fool. And probably a :wolf:.

"Forced" is a gut read from me, and isn't substantiated based on a single post, but that player's game in the whole. If I read each of scot's posts in iso, I would not come to the same conclusion that I do in reading his posts within the flow of the game.

The above paragraph is a waste of time. tl;dr: My suspicions on scot are total gut and probably unsubstantiated otherwise.

dahill's "overexplanation"
- I think scum have a tendency to try and clean their accusations spotless, and so when a player repeats the same thing to many different people in defense, I think it's scummy.

I don't have the conviction I once did on scot.

unvote

vote: mipe

@Quag: Compare ISO#9 with ISO#15. mipe clearly thought that #9 would get him out of some hot water. It didn't, and mipe throws in the towel. The unhelpfulness after #9 is a null-tell due to his complacency and lack of effort, but before that we have a player who was clearly anti-town and unrepentantly jumping on the largest bandwagon.

So, for me, early ISO's lead me to vote mipe. Afterwards is all just a distraction.

@inHim: I don't get your point on dahill.

mipe, don't claim. You really don't need to. Not until you get to L-1, and I would sure hope there's not anyone else willing to jump aboard this silly bandwagon.
