When will people finally realize policy lynching is stupid?Anon wrote:Mipe is one of these players that will never replace out and has a stupid playstyle that requieres extreme decisions.
If he is scum, we force him to fakeclaim. We can catch him in the claim or after the claim. The idea is to force him to come up with a decision as early as possible.
If he is town, well I dont plan on giving him more ideas of what to claim and what not. You can complete the equation.
The point is that I dont see him playing to at least have a better gasp of his alignment. He is basically a distraction that needs to be dealt asap. And since I think he is faking his easytargetness then I want this to be solved asap.

Not lynch him. Tolerate him. There are plenty of players around this site that have an antitown style of play. You need to tolerate them. Policy lynching them is not helpful.dahill1 wrote:
Well, personally, I do find his actions scummy but that besides the point for this question. Let me rephrase, what do you propose we do with mipe then?scotmany12 wrote:
I propose we look for scum. Not policy lynch someone who everyone is disappointed in. As quag has said, the goal is to find scum.dahill1 wrote:
What do you propose we do then? Just let him play as he is now?scotmany12 wrote:Yeah, I'm not liking the mipe wagon. Just seems like he is a player that doesn't really care, and that is not mutually exclusive with scum.-

This is less of a case of an antitown style of play and more a case of a guy refusing to play the game. I'd be quite happy with a forced replacement, honestly.ShowDizzyIzzyB13: For the record, I /ghooked Cogitate :p
ChannelDelibird: Well, for the record, FUCK YOU
ChannelDelibird: ;_;
DizzyIzzyB13: Cogitate is shorter. :(
DizzyIzzyB13: Sorry, CD
ChannelDelibird: Well, at least that's the first time a girl has told me "it's not short enough"-

I think he is faking his playstyle.scotmany12 wrote:EBWOP: Why do you think mipe is scum.
Read his iso. Until iso8 he seems to be a regular player.
His unvote in iso8 is forced and fake. /oh look im so townie unvoting when my top suspect is at l-4
When people start looking at him, he starts behaving like lately.
That makes me think he is faking it.-

This is probably an incorrect interpretation of his posts. Read ISO #9.Anon wrote:

Can you prove me wrong with behavior in other games? Can someone else research his other games for me? I'm too lazy to read another book or three.Korts wrote:
I'd prefer it if you actually did your research instead of committing to a lynch based solely on an assumption that has only out of game contact as a basis.Quagmire wrote:No, I've never played with Korts or read any of his other games. Quag: providing metagame information on oneself is extremely questionable, but I'll try to find games that represent my play from multiple aspects.
Mafia 653 (Newbie); alignment: mafia, won. 19 pages. One of my better performances.
Newbie 625; alignment: town (doctor), won. 13 pages. A reasonably good performance.
Mini 639 - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Mafia; alignment: town (vanilla), lost. 29 pages. Good early game performance, mediocre endgame.
Open 98 - Bird C9; alignment: mafia, lost. 5 pages. Shows the lengths I'm willing to go to to spark discussion.
Open 133 - Lovers; alignment: town, won. 12 pages. Good performance.
Open 159 - Lovers; alignment: mafia, won. 16 pages. Good performance.
Feel free to explore further, my wiki contains 50+ games I completed.scumchat never die-

Well until mipe does something productive my vote stays with him.
also, everyone should skim over Frogs Mafia or at least read scot's ISO to get an idea of what I'm talking about with him. He is definitely playing more aggressive there which I've noticed he's done as town often. This game just seems like he's not trying to step on any feet and appease everyone.-

Fool. And probably a .Cody wrote:My vote will stand on Korts probably until he's lynched.
"Forced" is a gut read from me, and isn't substantiated based on a single post, but that player's game in the whole. If I read each of scot's posts in iso, I would not come to the same conclusion that I do in reading his posts within the flow of the game.
The above paragraph is a waste of time. tl;dr: My suspicions on scot are total gut and probably unsubstantiated otherwise.
dahill's "overexplanation"
- I think scum have a tendency to try and clean their accusations spotless, and so when a player repeats the same thing to many different people in defense, I think it's scummy.
I don't have the conviction I once did on scot.
unvote
vote: mipe

@Quag: Compare ISO#9 with ISO#15. mipe clearly thought that #9 would get him out of some hot water. It didn't, and mipe throws in the towel. The unhelpfulness after #9 is a null-tell due to his complacency and lack of effort, but before that we have a player who was clearly anti-town and unrepentantly jumping on the largest bandwagon.
So, for me, early ISO's lead me to vote mipe. Afterwards is all just a distraction.
@inHim: I don't get your point on dahill.-

I've already shown why you're scum! You've pushed three awful transparent cases and your posting only masquerades as content.Korts wrote:
And that case doesn't apply is what I said.Quagmire wrote:You haven't proven anything I've said wrong. You just linked to a bunch of games. I just said I'm too busy and lazy to read them.
My case isn't meta-based, it's personality-based.
The burden of proof is on you.-
