New list:
1. DTMaster
2. Nikanor
3. SocioPath
4. MilesPrower (via AIM)
5. popsofctown (potential replacement for DiscoRoboto, also over AIM)
6. FishytheFish
7. danakillsu
8. UncertainKitten
9. smashbro_of_the_SSS (I will likely seek out a temp replacement for you during your absence).
CSL has told me he will sit out the start, but will be willing to replace, so I'll be looking for someone to fill that slot. Meanwhile, still waiting to hear from EdFrost and BrokenBlueprints. I'll be sending them a PM about it sometime tonight.Because, no matter how you dress it up, that's what the world is. Well to be clear, I specifically DIDN'T choose Seven or Disco, because of them just crapping out.
So I told Nik that if "Seven and Disco are both scum, they need a kick in the grill."

You talkin' 'bout the extended RVS stage?
Because I LOOOOOOVE extended RVS stages.
Because some of the best scum hunting can come from such.
It certainly caught EF.
Very much so.

In fact, I think there should be full disclosure on the setup.
I've seen other games try and rerun setups and they've never worked as intended.
Best scenario is out everything, keep the theme, and rerun it with all new roles and claims. (Obviously with SOME mechanical over lap because some roles are in most games anyways.)Aut Tace Aut Meliora Loquere Silentio.-

THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE.
Also Tails and Dana will have MASSIVE advantages next game at this point because of the nonrevealed Green Room. There was exactly one piece of information shared in the Green Room, and it was simply the existance of a link between two players. The nature of the link was not disclosed.
However, the more I think about it, the more I realize that you're right. Full setup (I'm not including role PMs) is as follows:
EdFrost: Amano Yukiteru (from Mirai Nikki), Mafia Godfather
DiscoRoboto: Gasai Yuno (from Mirai Nikki), Mafia Godmother
Seven/CSL: Suzumiya Haruhi (from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi), Mafia Master (she knows Kyon is in the game, knows that "the mods are players in the game," knows that Kyon also knows this, and knows what Kyon's ability is, but doesn't know who has Kyon's role)
MilesPrower: Kyon (from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi), Servant (knows that Haruhi is in the game, does not know her alignment, and can choose to Bodyguard her each Night; also has alice's note) And yes, the Bodyguard ability was supposed to be a false lead.
UncertainKitten: Kanzaki Nao (from Liar Game), mason
FishytheFish: Shinichi Akiyama (from Liar Game), mason
DTMaster: Lucy (from Elfen Lied), town lover
smashbro_of_the_SSS: Kouta (from Elfen Lied), town lover
SocioPath: L (from Death Note), cop (sanity unconfirmed, sane)
Nikanor: Near (from Death Note), deputy
ZazieR/BrokenBlueprints: magnus_orion (from Real Life), Lyncher/Lynchee (does not know of lynchee status, does not know who holds role of Kairyuu)
danakillsu: Kairyuu (from Real Life), Lyncher/lynchee (same modnotes as magnus_orion)
Note: Lynching either of the mods WOULD have resulted in an in-game effect. Specifically, a post would be made regarding how stupid you were to try to lynch one of your overlords, and then the votecount would be reset, deadline would be extended if necessary, and magnus and I would switch roles for 1 week (he would become primary mod, and I would become backup). Essentially just a shits and giggles deal because I knew there was a real chance one of us would be lynched given Alice's note and some of the players.Because, no matter how you dress it up, that's what the world is. A community of idiots doing a series of things until the world explodes and we all die.-

Huh, cool. Usually lynching the mod is a no lynch in my games ."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Yeah, I'm not a fan of cops either. (I tend to not let cop results affect scum hunting either...EVEN MY OWN RESULTS.)
Its too black/white for me.
I like more ambiguous information like watchers/trackers.
That could be a linked role.
A mason watcher/tracker pair that can dual target someone for extra bonuses and have them BOTH TARGET ME.
AND SEE ME HAVE FOUR DIFFERENT TARGETS AT THE SAME TIME. :C [/targame memories]Aut Tace Aut Meliora Loquere Silentio.-

UncertainKitten wrote:Pah. I've been screwing cops since my first modded game on here! And not in the obvious double entendre way SocioPath is going to point out!The first UK-mod game I actually payed attention to was Umineko. The other three were run when I was either a)still rather new and not comfortable with complexity, b)on one of the two temporary breaks I took from the site, or c)I wasn't paying attention to the queue and missed the signups.
Also, obligatory mention of the double entendre.Because, no matter how you dress it up, that's what the world is. A community of idiots doing a series of things until the world explodes and we all die.-

ISO me at read Post 18.
It was D2 with all 4 scum still alive.
I gave the town the proper people, and ways to kill, the entire game. (Barring me of course.)
oEJo was obv scum, since his lynch failed the day before.
But I knew, and told the town, exactly who was and how to kill, the other scums in the game.
Even before I 'investigated' the second scum.Aut Tace Aut Meliora Loquere Silentio.-

It was kind of a risky move when I did what I did.Nikanor wrote:I totally knew SocioPath was a cop when he said he wasn't linked to anyone.
I figure by stating such, if I WAS tied to someone, they would have known more about it than me.
So it would help confirm me with SOMEone. (I was reeeeally hoping it wasn't scum trying to find an unlinked role though.)
Smash though, being a lover, was totally scummy as hell for bringing it up, because it clearly had nothing to do with him.Aut Tace Aut Meliora Loquere Silentio.-
