I didn't see anyone he was particularly going after (aside from Dana) so I can't tell if someone had a reason behind it. As for a super townie usually dying first night, I did not see anyone in particular, so I don't think that that was the reason for death.

How is that saying I killed Miles? I was asked why I am not getting a read on his death, so I said that neither one of my suspicions coming from a nightkill were valid. If you are getting other tells from it (the death of Miles), then go ahead and say them, my word is not law. But not being able to get a read from the nightkill does not make someone scummy.

If it's the second sentence, then again, I don't see why you're asking for DTM to make a case. You want smashbro dead, so it can't be to convince you. If DTM's case is good, we lynch smashbro, he flips scum, all good. If DTM's case is bad, we lynch smashbro, he flips town, DTM flips scum, and we are again all good.
I just don't see the point of you asking for a case from DTM.

About the setup guesswork:

a. I wanted to present the element of lovers (7 town, 3 scum, 2 lynchers where 1 town and 1 scum is likely). Reason? If a lover was lynched today: it would result in 2 deaths by lynching, and 1 by night kill (assuming worst case scenerio). Let's play this out.

1. If we are in 3 scum, 2 lyncher with 2 townie lovers: that means

we are in Mylo right now

If we lynch lovers and they flip townie, or if lovers die from NK: that means scum wins at day 3.

I find this setup horribly unbalanced considering town did not mislynch yet (a lyncher is a 3rd party anti-town role).

2. We have lovers with 1 scum and 1 town. This works in a 3 scum 7 townie ratio you worked out.

3. If we just have 2 scum due to: 2 lovers, 2 lynchers/lynchees, the day will end with 3 deaths again. If the 2 lovers are town then: tomorrow will be mylo with 6 people, rather then carrying lovers into mylo.

Summary: I rather focus on getting better reads on my lover now, rather then wait because of potential mylo today/tomorrow. SS has lurked through day 1.

Bleh. It bothers me to watch you all continue to put effort into this game when magnus and I noticed the rather glaring flaw in it.

Scum have almost no chance of losing right now, due to a progression that your idiot mod didn't foresee. I've PMed MeMe about getting permission for a restart (after rebalancing and some role shuffling to avoid having the setup broken by people remembering their roles). If you're interested in playing in the restarted game (assuming permission is granted), simply /in in this thread, and any who don't want to participate in the restart will have replacements hunted down for them.

Since this is not an open game, and since it will hopefully be restarted, I would ask that no further role information be shared, as some of it will pretty much have to be reused, and I'd prefer to avoid confirmations via that method.

My apologies for the wasted effort put into a broken game.

MeMe has just given permission for the restart.

The problem was that, if the lynchers were eliminated D1, and the lovers were outted D2, then the scum would win automatically N2. This possibility escaped me when I was originally balancing the game, which is why I went ahead with such a craptastic setup design.

It shouldn't take me more than a day, maybe two, to rebalance the game and change up enough things to keep it from being breakable by claims, so like I said, if you want to re/in, please do so in thread, and when I have confirmations from everyone playing that they either do or do not wish to play, I will see about getting the replacements necessary.
